Scarcity has a value of its own. To be the only HRZ on the NS makes the JV very unique.
Yes, the conventional guys on the North slope use fracing techniques. The two major support service groups on the NS were easily able to provide proppent for 88e.
88e is the only oiler that has been identified to sit on a HRZ sweet spot. PB trumped GB who thought they had the sweet spot. The former CEO of GB was one of those invited to review the data supplied by PB and confirmed Icewine to be over the sweet spot.
The recent tidy up of the Dog Tooth section now means that most of the key HRZ area is now under Icewine and readily accessible. Why do that if there was no value in HRZ?
HRZ is entirely a science and engineering modeling function. Early days at Eagleford saw this process extend to over 50 drills to hit a positive commercial flow result. So much has been learned and understood since those days, using PB tool box, which is now freely available to the recently introduced additional specialists.
Location is key and with the acquisition of the dog tooth section it allows for a series of gravel pads located between the Dalton and Taps, serviced from Franklin Bluffs. Easy to Spur into Taps.
Once we get the first farm out completed, funds in the bank and a planned roll out of both conventional and HRZ drilling the naysayers who remain un-invested despite their fatal attraction to us all, will just slink away.
Have a good weekend.
