With an ''insurance cover note''. you would not be investing millions of $. I am not sure I would see this like a cover note unless i did not have to invest any more in the vehicle than I already have. I would like to see such an offer as a positive statement of intent. Yet too many would see it as a method of financial entrapment. I can understand why there is a case for caution. I see it as another step forward but not enough for FC. Will it be enough for PPA?

I would not be surprised to see a SML equivalent being applied for, and for this to be with a start date sometime in 2019. The even better news is that the Botswana government already has MOU and PPA agreements established so knows what is it is doing and how to get it done. If MCPP was not on the agenda and it was just MCIPP I think we would all be very pleased that a project like this was going to come through sooner rather than later
