Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Good morning Ian,
It's been a while since I had a guess and we are approaching the anniversary of me boarding the good ship Eurasia.
Please can you put me down for 15th July?
I didn't expect to still be here, I also didn't expect the increases in resources or the massive opportunity of the JV.
In reality, I believe we still don't have the full picture and I expect more good news before the sale announcement.
Good luck all!
I have been thinking about claims of manipulation and shorting, particularly with regards to a certain firm. I'll call them Black Spot.
I invest in a tracker fund through Black Spot and they use my money to buy shares. The shares are just being added to this fund and the additional demand causes the price of the share to rise so the price paid is at a premium.
Black Spot then, through various means, including shorting, lending shares for shorts and concealed trades manipulate the price down. This allows Black Spot to average down a bit and make money on the shorts. It also negatively affects the value of the index and my investment.
If this happened would it be ethical? Would it even be legal?
The same applies to some extent to companies that hold peoples shares for them and lend them out to shorters.
Something smells rotten.....
Like many, I would prefer more information and a higher share price, life would be easier that way. However, voting against the BOD at the AGM is, in my opinion, is not the way to get it.
If the vote goes against the BOD it will cause the share price to fall and it will not increase the information. It will not be seen as a protest, it will be an obstacle.
Email Keith and ask specific questions or put a question forward for the AGM about the NDAs or news flow.
If you want to make it to Treasure Island, support the Board.
If you hold shares it's a no brainer, you will be damaging you investment if you vote against. If you don't hold shares, you can't vote!
Hi Potatohead,
I'm afraid I don't think you understand the way green boxes work. You will still have the pleasure of reading the detailed, researched information that is posted. If someone puts you in a green box they can't see your posts, you can still see theirs.
For my benefit, I am putting you in a green box.
I'm on holiday so i haven't ben following the board.
Logged on and immediately noted the complete absence of green boxes. Happy days, they've given up posting unresearched nonsense.
Sadly no. One of two things has happened, either the old lot got fired due to incompetence, or they got a final written warning, were given new names and were sent out with a bunch of fresh hatchlings and told to lift their game.
Well, they appear to have fallen at the first hurdle because they have collectively forgotten to do any research. They seem to have been programmed with 'feelings' and a superior sense of smell. Oh I nearly forgot, they also have a very defined right to have an opinion and a right to express it.
Express away, I have a whole new batch of green boxes.
Good luck to all genuine holders!
Morning Travis
Should the placing be showing in these figures? I don't know how or when the figures are compiled.
I guess as we don't know, nobody knows. Could be other large unknown holdings too.
Jambo,
I give you credit. I have had a peep at your posting history. Your posts are well constructed and individually reasonable.
Unfortunately, collectively there is only one way to see your outlook, miserable!
I know you mocked posters for suggesting that people with a negative view should sell, however, if I had your views on what is happening here, I would have sold. If you really believe what you post, you really should consider if the risk is worth it.
I wish you the best of luck and guess what, I will not be seeing any more of your posts.
Jambo,
You have a very negative outlook don't you? I'm not sure I should even be replying to your nonsense.
If we get a special dividend somewhere north of the current share price, why would it be a problem? Every shareholder gets a dividend and can do whatever they want with that. There would probably be a sell off by shareholders who were in just for a sale. People that see the potential of the area and future income will reinvest some or all of their dividend and the process continues.
The income from old fashioned open pit mining will be, shall we say decent and shareholders will benefit for decades. Regular dividends will support a substantially higher SP and we will all live happily ever after.
I think you maybe have a negative agenda or maybe you have missed your meds.
Morning all,
Although I had generally gone along with the AGM tying in with on a vote on a sale, the 'guess the date..' competition made me look at the reasoning for that. Clearly it could be the big day but I'm now starting to doubt its relevance.
In my opinion there is possibly at least one more big announcement before the sale. If you look at 'substantially all' of our assets being what was for sale before the Rosgeo JV, it isn't quite the finished package, probably one more licence to come and I would be surprised if a sale went through without it if we want maximum shareholder value (we do!). The timing of licencing is out of the control of the BOD.
It would be a nice tidy stepping stone if the sale vote went through on the day of the AGM but I won't be betting on it.
As for price, we don't have details of what is being sold, resources, costs or indeed whether all of the money will go into a special dividend, too much for me to guess at. I would dearly love it to be £1 plus (my original guess) because, having reduced my hopes for the comfort of my retirement, that would probably be just about enough.
This is going to happen, I'm not sure quite when or what shape it will be. I am sure it's going to be big.
Good luck all!
DYOR
Morning all. I've noticed a few references to the fact that now the FSP is over we should get all the facts and figures. Is that correct? There were NDAs in place before suspension and I would expect they will continue with certain commercial information being held back. You don't want your competitors knowing every detail of your business.
Hi Ian,
Just a thought, would the options we have with Rosgeo count as assets? How does the paragraph by James fit in with your suggestion?
"After significantly strengthening our position in the open pit PGM district of the Urals and in the PGM and battery metals district of Kola recently, we are enthusiastic to advance a potential deal that provides an opportunity to monetise the value to Eurasia's shareholders. We are also focused on the creation of a globally significant producer of PGM and battery metals. We believe the timing is perfect taking into account the consistent supply disruptions in PGM and battery metals segments".
Specifically about the creation of a globally significant producer of PGM and battery metals.
I'd like to think that will be something left that will reward shareholders in the future.
For what it may be worth, my view, and others may have said it but I can't keep up with the board is....
Assets that we had in 2020 plus flanks and upgrades will be sold as 'substantially all' of our assets.
The Rosgeo JV is at present just 'options ' and options are not assets.
The assets will be sold and the 'new' mining company will develop some or all of the JV offerings.
We get a special dividend from the sale and hold shares in a large PGM miner with regular dividends.
I haven't got a clue on the numbers, but I really like the idea!
Great to see something happening anyway.
Anyone with a short position on this may be in a spot of bother
