Shorting should be made illegal. It goes well and truly against the original principals of the stock market.
A company should fail or prosper on its own merits and not be artificially destroyed by ********s placing bets trying to drag things down.
In fact shorting is utterly disgraceful. End of rant.

I do an awful lot of cruising and confidence seems to be very high. The Norwegian one I last went on in Nov was full to capacity.
Don't forget also, that there have been many many excellent deals offered by cruise lines in the recently (extra on board spend / free WiFi / excursions) that have been very appealing and pounced upon.
