PYX Resources: Achieving volume and diversification milestones. Watch the video here.
This BB is just to waste our time while we await exciting news. I would use the Investors Board for chat about research not this with totally irrelevant shyte posted over and over. But this is more interesting and fun to while away the hours until Ed completes the big deal year end. A nice Xmas present for all
I donāt think he does a 9-5 mon to fri like most of us barwickman and I couldnāt see how he could manage on just the income from seed. A lot of CEOs and directors are with several companies. Most are paid to do the job and not a set number of hours. I would imagine he might do a day or two each week for Seed - though it wouldnāt even need that, whatās to manage ? Heās also got his Gforce and CFG and whatever else heās starting with his chums. At least we are safe in the knowledge heās doing a good job for us.
In a recent presentation, he pointed out that the company had historically made mistakes by being just a passive investor, but says that he is looking to be a more active owner of businesses. He also reiterated the goal of reaching Ā£50 million in market cap. Pmsl. Edās bullshyte talk.
I did think he would make up for it with a timely and decent return from Leap. Everyman and his dog said he missed the sweet spot. Only Ed didnāt realise or did he ???? I know heās got a lot of crap left from the last lot of rogues. So if he gets a good return from Leap Iāll cut him a bit slack. Maybe he will buy shares when itās more of his own holdingsā¦ā¦..nah probably not.
In just a couple of months it will be Edās 5th year at Seed. Just look at whatās been achieved by seed in those 5 years. NAV down around 20% and SP down over 80%ā¦ā¦.Not exactly sure what the bonus was paid for Lolā¦.
I try and make enough on listed which is obviously liquid to supplement my income. Private equity is often tied up for several years. Most PE investments aim for around 3x in 2 years and 7 to 8x in 5 years. Obviously more risk but with a bit common sense you can make good money if you don't mind it being tied up.
Dagenham Most of the money I have invested is in private equity. For the money I have in listed, my biggest gains have been in ones like this ( though not this time lol ) ones that have either tanked on bad news and I have bought in for recovery, or ones with poor management like this but have a few decent assets and are trading below their NAV.
dagenham....Until the recent drop in its SP this last year- investment trust Scottish Mortgage averaged over 30% year on year return for over 10 years and even after its large drop this last year it has still almost doubled your money in 5 years as opposed to Seed which is down over 80% in the last 5 years. Quite an achievement for Scottish Mortgage which is half listed and half unlisted as well as having over a hundred holdings.
It's a shame it doesn't work like an investment trust - which is what it is meant to be. Investors buying in to Seed and leaving the management to buy and sell the portfolio holdings in Seeds portfolio, increasing NAV over the years. It is the manager of the fund that should be doing the trading - buying and selling at the right time not the shareholder of the IT. You should be able to buy in and leave it for 5years or so and see a decent return as the professionals do the trading of the shares within SEED. Though quite clearly they have failed miserably at this, the NAV is ridiculously lower than it was over 5 years back. Even the biggest rampers of Seed will admit to having to jump in and out on the peaks and troughs. Until they get a fund manager it will continue in the same way.
No even Doggo canāt spout that much shyte. Oh wait Doggo did say Leap would be worth Ā£200m. Lol. He did also say this would be 50p a share by 2018 and Ā£50 by 2020. Factom Ā£5m safe agreement was a good deal. Etc etc. yea. I suppose Doggo is even worse than Ed. Enjoy your evening Doggo. Itās a bit wet for penny for a guy. Love you x x
Lol. Hit a raw nerve. Have you not had any multibaggers lately. Ahh. Poor Doggo. You can always pretend like quint. Pmsl. How much do you think that holiday cost ??? More than a year or two of your benefits ā¦one day Iāll get it right like you Doggo. I mean everything youāve said here over the years has been totallyā¦..er. Wrong ?
