I don't know about anyone else here but it's been my experience and observation throughout life that the people who most portray themselves as paragons of virtue, champions of those less fortunate and other do-gooder types are very often the ones with most to hide. Shadowfall emphasise that they "approach each investigation with conscious impartiality and active curiosity, building comprehensive investment cases by using open source, publically (their spelling mistake, not mine) available and verifiable evidence." Indeed, a veritable claim of high standards and probity. In my opinion, they give the impression that they are a force for good in exposing corporate wrongdoings, when in actuality what they are really about, above all else, is making money. That's the driving force, right there. Ask yourself, does conscious impartiality and making money go hand in hand? So, if he hasn't done so already, I think it's about time Mr Kamani and the BOD spent some of their not inconsiderable resources on a very thorough investigation into Shadowfall, it's directors, employees, any subcontractors, freelancers, contacts and sources of information, relationships with the mainstream media and any journalists in particular, as well as relationships with any politicians. After all, what's good for the goose is surely good for the gander. What say folks?

I like to use the analogy of the man lost in the desert. He's been walking for 3 days, pushing himself, dreaming constantly of water. He's just about finished, can barely walk another step and then he sees it. He brushes the sand from his eyes. In the distance...an oasis. His heart soars. His legs are infused with energy. You could not hope to catch nor stop him from attaining to his destination.

They are staying in and spending it instead. And we know where a chunk of that is headed, don't we indeed. Come rain, hail or shine; lockdown or no lockdown, economy roaring or economy snoring, it makes not a sod of difference as Boo have all bases covered to grow and profit in all climates. Sooner probably very much rather than later, the scales are going to start falling from investors eyes and when they do it'll be too late as Boo's horse will have bolted. Sleep with one eye open. It's coming.

Other shares won't do anyone any good if the underlying companies aren't built to withstand a full blown economic Armageddon. But guess one of the companies that will still be thriving all the way through it and out the other side too. Yep, Boo baby! Whereas the lefty critics and virtue signallers will get their comeuppance when they eventually fall from their platitudes and experience what it's like to be left well and truly BRWOKE. Just sayin' folks. Keep slinging and Boo'll just keep on selling and growing!

Hi Wydrum, don't know where you've got that from as I'm not having a go at you at all. Please read my post and ponder what I'm saying and you'll see that.

Ask yourself, if you had a company that was doing remarkably well and you were doing everything you could to make amends for something which in actuality wasn't even your legal responsibility (it was the governments). And yet, because the government couldn't or wouldn't get their own house in order on the issue, you became the fall guy, not them. At the same time this government relishes in pointing the finger at you to deflect attention and detract from the fact that the real culprit in all of this, is, in fact, the government itself, supported in collusion by City chums and a mainstream media that would have made Marx proud.

The double irony in all this is that the UK desperately needs companies like Boo and people like the Kamanis. Lest it had escaped their detractors awareness, Boohoo and the Kamanis DO NOT NEED this country. They can up sticks to a friendlier main jurisdiction and still sell internationally. That's the magic of the global economy. IMO, the BOD would do well to consider doing just this:

1. Rescind any and all further additional investment in the UK, other than what is needed to maintain distribution and a presence. Relocate main operations to the US.

2. Do not even consider a main listing on the London Market. Delist from Aim and relist in the US. Why remain on hostile turf when the yanks welcome a world beating company like Boo with open arms.

Oh that this should happen and others follow suit. Some are already doing so. Puretech have had enough of the fun and games over here and are seeking a listing on Nasdaq. Their share price has suffered at the hands of this bent set up too.

If the virtue signalling parasites called MPs had the ability to run this country with anything like the efficiency the BOD run Boohoo, then this country would be World beating. Instead, we have third rate politicians (that's being kind by the way), taking a pop at a first class company which is part of the reason we're fast becoming a third world country. Makes you proud doesn't it folks.

Do workers get paid the dreaded £3.50 an hour in China, India, Vietnam etc. Nope, not on your nelly. £3.50 a week more like. The again, it's all relative we're told. It's okay if it's over there, that's the going rate. So by that logic, it's okay for major UK fashion companies to engage in activities over there which are illegal over here? And your conscience is okay with that oh all ye woke journos? Just a thought, since you never seem to endlessly report on those abuses do you. Offend your friends in the City by any chance? Yep, thought so.

The hypocrisy of this woman is simply breathtaking. A lefty career politician, ergo a parasite, born with the proverbial silver spoon, straight into the labour party after leaving Uni. Never had a real job in the real world. Just lives handsomely off the backs of taxpayers. And she has the audacity to have a pop at people who actually do create jobs and wealth.

Same as Puretech. No way to deal @2.46 today. Another stock that's massively manipulated on the London Stock Exchange why is why they are now seeking a Nasdaq listing. They've had enough of their share price being manipulated and have said as much. Boo need to follow suit.

Barring a global calamity of hitherto unseen proportions, revenue and profits will continue to go from strength to strength. They now have all bases covered in their offerings; fulfilling low, medium and higher price points. All this talk about growth slowing with an ever tanking economy. No, it will do the opposite; people who can no longer afford mid to high end will gravitate to Boos core brands, adding to the already highly-addicted, fashion-fixated huge customer base. If the economy confounds and does the opposite, the mid and higher range brands will benefit more, whilst the core will still continue to grow. If the UK hits the skids, no real worries, there's the rest of the world and the US. Like I say, all bases covered. Plus, efficiencies are being continually driven across the board as is expansion into and growth in international markets, particularly the US. Acquisitions will continue to be made, marketing will continue to get ever more sophisticated, effective and dominant. The BOD are no fools. Highly astute, highly competent and highly driven with decades of experience from the ground up. They are not wet behind the ears, public school career execs. This company is powered by real people with experience, passion and a ton of skin in the game. Just a pity we can't clone them and have them running the country too, instead of the arch incompetents we are sadly suffering under.

I've just been studying the extended results presentation webinar and towards the end, at approx 1.19.24 on the timeline, a question is asked on behalf of one of the institutions. The question is as follows:
"Your period end inventories are ahead of your H2 sales guidance. What gives you CONFIDENCE there won't be a clearance problem?"
Now, Neil Catto then goes on to answer this question, but that's another thing. Before he does, just look at the facial reactions from Carol Kane and John Lyttle. Look at those smiles and tell me they don't know exactly why the inventories are ahead. Those are knowing smiles if I ever saw them. Check it out for yourself here...

Normally consider them to be The Ship of Fools but on some occasions they get things right. This is one of them. About to top up on todays lows...yet again. Keep the faith all, this too shall pass.
