Drill hole JUD001 hitting all targeted rock sequences at Juno is a major milestone for GEO — it shows the geology is lining up exactly as expected, and that’s a huge early win. This isn’t a vague update — they’ve completed the first hole to 810m, moved the rig straight onto JUD002, and already have core heading to the lab. That pace and precision is what serious exploration looks like. The team clearly has confidence in the system, and the language used — “district-scale,” “exciting opportunity,” “systematic, methodical exploration” — points to something much bigger in play than just ticking boxes.
With assays expected in the December quarter, we’re now in prime time for a speculative build-up. GEO is drilling in an untouched gold frontier with a 4km x 2km footprint and backing from proven geos like Callum Baxter. This isn’t just noise — it’s real progress, with real potential. If this starts catching retail attention, or if whispers emerge about mineralisation in core, the re-rate could happen fast. You don’t often get clean setups like this — early drill success, full funding in place, and a potential discovery zone wide open.
