Thought the price had finally broken out of the endless trading range it was stuck in for months. Disappointed at the brief breakout. IMO this is a safe and secure copper miner....but money's going into risky shares like KAZ. ATB

Shanta Gold Limited (LON:SHG) had its price objective cut by analysts at Peel Hunt from GBX 18 ($0.24) to GBX 9 ($0.12) in a report released on Tuesday. The firm currently has a “buy” rating on the stock. Lamprell After a very long search for a new CEO, Lamprell have alighted on Chris McDonald recently of Petrofac and formerly of Halliburton/KBR, no surprise there then. He will succeed the brilliant Jim Moffat who’s only Achilles heel is his irreplacability but i’m sure that he will use his short period of consultancy to pass on pearls of wisdom. Life is hard for Lamprell at the moment, made better by the overhang of a good order book last year but new contracts will be needed in the second half to avoid a nasty crunch.

I totally agree.....it needed to be said although I just couldn't be bothered to reply as I knew an abusive reply would follow. I asked Vig several questions months ago, about the risks to the USA Economy re-potental recession, politely. He replied stating the risks where very low....which so far has proved to be correct. This board in my option needs his input as ANY internal USA market views whether fears or current trends are SO important. Thanks for your input TOO. CHEERS Mick

It's all about assumptions made in 6 months time for the USA economy. If as I suspect a near recession is predicted by Deutsche bank this highly cyclical stock will be adversely affected. As you imply this assumption this is a minority view ...but who really knows as the world's economic growth has been downgraded several times. A nice risky buy at 90p....as in about 2002 this was priced at a near bankrupt 10p when fraudulent figures were unearthed. I agree the one man show...Vig100....needs some board company. Cheers...

VI, Has been keeping within your predicted S/P range of £7.50 - £9 for almost 3 months. Which way will it go when it breaks out.... Perhaps Brexit will decide that.... Cheers,
