US plummets in premarket, Dow down 400 pts

Major stock indexes in the United States tumbled during the premarket session on Tuesday, erasing previous gains, after the country's latest report on inflation. Namely, although the figure fell from the previous month's reading to 8.3% in August, it was still above market expectations.
The Dow Jones nosedived 1.22% or 402 points at 8:43 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 plummeted 2.37% or 301 points a minute later, while the S&P 500 slid 1.74% at 8:45 am ET. The euro lost 0.63% against the dollar, selling for 1.00628 at 8:46 am ET.

Blue Origin LLC, founded and owned by Jeff Bezos, shared on Monday, in its most recent update, that no one got injured as "all personnel have been accounted for" after its rocket crashed not long following the liftoff, during the New Shepard Mission NS-23.
"This was a payload mission with no astronauts on board. The capsule escape system functioned as designed... successfully separating the capsule from the booster," which "impacted the ground," the company noted.
Blue Origin's previous mission, NS-22, which was the sixth spaceflight with a human crew and the 22nd flight for the New Shepard program, was successfully carried out.
