Antigua - Shaun isn’t going rouge. Newcrest will know rhat Shaun will put out a resource update, he said it publicly and also did it last year. Also if you read the Newcrest reports (I quote earlier) they mentioned the Hav and agree Chris update will be forthcoming at a future point. Don’t forget last year Newcrest released an updated Hav eventually… after GGP did

Nice work Dip. None of this emotional barrage we see on here who like to argue and point fingers. Just looking at the facts of the situation help take the emotion out. Shaun is aware of the SP concerns so let's hope the Board are plotting a course to steady the ship back up the Lassonde Curve.

Loft, if you really do believe your words then you should be selling. Why write this and be a shareholder, these two things are opposing. " I do predict that Newmont will put the Haveiron project on the back burner while refusing to sell their 70% once they takeover Newcrest. They have plenty of other bigger prospects to further develop. A horrible thought but a distinct possibility...just join all the dots and don't be fooled by what SD says....snake charming springs to mind !"

I disagree Loft with your summation of Shaun not being fit for purpose, IMO he is. It is well known that exploration stocks go up massively on the big discovery when hysteria sets in, and they always fall back eventually when reality sets in of moving from discovery to mine. Generally 3 years it seems. When shareholders capitulate the stock falls further during this time. That period is close to being behind us soon. Once all the uncertainty is removed - resource size, decision to mine, feasibility study, finances, first revenue, etc - then this share price lull will be history.

Management can't withhold information in order to appease "mates" on ASX, I find that rubbish. UK shareholders have to vote on a reoganisation to allow the ASX cross-listing. The more current data released to the market the better for all. Too much uncertainty at the moment is killing any share price growth.

IMHO, you can read a lot about the company's view on the MRE update in what Shaun Day stated back in March:

"We think shareholders have been patient, we think there's a good resource update coming we want to share that with the market so I think we're happy to align with Newcrest, I think there's a broader strategic reason why that makes sense in this kind of takeover scenario where you know there are a range of opportunities that may occur for us as Greatland - but I don't think we would past that date be comfortable with no update to the resource so hopefully that gives people confidence that it's coming but also an understanding as to why I think it's in our interest both technically and commercially to let us run its course and we do like being aligned with Newcrest, they're our JV partner the relationship's important and strong."

Shaun has been advising us August in line with NCM. Having to wait 3 or so months isn’t what I expected

So why we waiting months and not weeks?

JD (reminds me of 🥃) if GGP need a few months to pull together their resource update I agree/suspect they already have the data, however they need to go via a third party consultant and that’s where the time delay will come into it. Bugger. As long as all pertinent market information is released before any ASX cross listing I’ll be okay about it.
