Brilliant news this morning. Unlike 95% of resource projects held by nanocaps, this one is actually happening. Equity funding from the world’s largest clean hydrogen fund, debt portion oversubscribed, offtake with large cap fertiliser company. It’s happening. All for under £20m market cap. This should now be a £80-120m cap company.

Plus the $5m eliminates any risk of a placing.

There has clearly been a large overhang in play here today but the good news is that sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with high volume and almost all buys - including some big ones. Just a bit of patience needed to clear the overhang and we should be flying

Conclusion - significantly undervalued at current production, but also the trajectory is convincingly upward. When we reach 750oz per month, that’s $26m per annum. And so on.

Would anyone be able to provide a link to a website showing a regularly updated chrome price? I’ve found one that updates once per month but am sure I have previously had a better link - just can’t find it now!

I’m not sure what to make of this news. If you ignore all history and look at it in isolation it looks positive. But once you take the history into account this does kind of feel like an abandonment of a large part of the strategy and plan they have been implementing for the last however long. That chopping and changing doesn’t inspire confidence. I guess the proof of the pudding will be in the eating over the coming six months or so

Probably speaking too soon but there do seem to be signs that the selling has dried up (14 month overhang finally cleared!)

My interpretation is (a) no problem with the deal with Huo, hence they have made the share purchase, but (b) presumably a bit of operational delay, and (c) Huo want to be selling coal at ramped up volumes before they pay royalties on it, which actually is fair enough. Give it a bit more time and it should be good in my opinion. If anything was seriously wrong, surely Huo wouldn’t have completed the share purchase

What a brilliant bit of news. Do we think it’s legitimate to annualise the Q4 profit of 500k EUR to a yearly profitability of 2m EUR? If so, that clearly pushes the whole group from loss to profit going forward

Yeah agree with that Chris. The impact very much depends on what happens during the next couple of months

HC, it is good that the price is higher but I don’t follow that logic on the size of the overhang. The time an overhang takes to clear depends not only on the number of shares but on the price they’re going for.

The general view is that to clear a placing overhang the placing volume has to churn 3 to 4 times, which in this case means trading volume in the region of £8-9m.

The fact of the placing is frustrating enough but even more frustrating are:

(1) the likely inference that people sounded out to participate have filled their boots with a bit of insider trading, hence the rapid fall over the past few trading days; and

(2) the size of the placing, which is much larger than the recent narrative might have suggested would be necessary, and which will create a monster overhang in the 7.5-8p area.

Frustrating.

- improved prospect of US grants

- improved prospect of favourable US political influence, particularly under Trump

- should allow these projects to get moving again

- improves MKA balance sheet by turning these assets into a real entry with realisable value

- gives MKA another method of raising cash in future, if needed
