What it would be good to know, is the stated capacity based on 9-5 5 days a week, 7 days a week, 24 hours? Can they increase capacity with the same equipment by extending shifts and working hours? That's the first question....

MoreThanMe - Agree capacity has to be built up in stages which is clearly the plan, and I wouldn't be surprised if the use of those funds has been put on hold for now and it might have been the plan all along. And the point about time to get capacity in place is the key, as they need to look forward and anticipate capacity. My guess is on signing the UK RTC supply agreement, they will commit more than 200k per week, and once they establish the point about non UK Gov orders they will know exactly how many UK RTC they need to make. This will be the first point to move capacity forward. The second point will be Mologic Antibody orders, and the third point will be CE mark of Mologics Antigen tests. 2 and 3 could come in reverse order, but at the point Mologic antigen test is CE marked that could dramatically increase the plan, particularly if these heathrow trials turn towards Mologics tests for implementation.

Mizman - no i do not expect a significant change in price.... this is all about volume IMO. The only question on price i have is non UK Gov UK RTC orders. I just really cannot see 1m tests per week being near enough, especially when Antigen tests come on board. I would take that £3m for the new test development and add as much capacity as i could. You will only have to wait a few weeks to replace that £3m to invest in the new development tests. My only concern is if they are being ambitious enough which is a scary thought seeing valuation at top end of current plan is £5 plus.

ODX are an honest company with the upmost integrity. Very rare. Certain people and organisations will take advantage, but will be of great advantage to our investment as the company grows.

3 tests gone into trial including Mologic. No doubt any success with those trials they Government are going to be under immense pressure from airports to get these tests in place. We could have a perfect storm of newsflow coming with commercial traction on all fronts. I expect we will get a few huge surprises which i would expect to include a plan to increase capacity beyond the 2m expected

That is just UK RTC capacity. Latest RNS on Mologic CE mark due for commercialisation in Sep also up to 200k tests by end of Oct, so we should be up to 400k per week by end of Oct.

I would love to see how they are going to test 66m people multiple times with 1m tests!! Maybe these tests are even better than we thought and they can test 60 people each and be reused!!

How about the incorrect information is that it's a 1m order. Probably missed a couple of zeros off.

Thanks Disciple - I don't think we need luck. We have invested in a quality company that delivers what they say they are going to deliver and more. It's been a frustrating period, but ODX's success is based on things they have achieved not by over selling promises of what might be possible. So much value still to be unlocked.

JAdam - I think there are 2 separate things. Validation of the test performance, and self test approval.

Actually there is one point i haven't seen picked up on there, apologies if i missed it:

One of the things from the last update was that it was going through further independent validations. So we should be expecting an update on the validation of the test along with the first order.

Have absolutely no idea what's going to happen next, but i do know that a lot will happen very quickly.

1 point to note. They originally said 10m tests in a 6 month period. Now it's 10m by the end of the year. You would assume they will need more than 200k per week from ODX to get to 10m by end of the year.

I would put a lot of money on this not being the only RNS this week. We should get one of the more material items complete.

Sneller was not late in informing the market. Extra shares being issued took him below 9%. 30th June was the day he sold the tranche that took him below the 9% figure, but at the time it was above 9%, it wasn't until the extra shares issued though that this became notifiable. He has consistently issued TR1s on time, so it is inaccurate to suggest he is playing against the rules.

Okehurst1 - Antigen tests may have more press at the moment, and the need for better tests is clear to see. But the fact they are flavour of the day doesn't take away from Antibody testing. It is well published that the government want to do a mass antibody test screen. It is obvious from anyone who can put basic puzzles together which test is going to be used. The Government plan has been in place since the 5 pillars were set up, and the 200k surveillance that is in the plan is going ahead. They mush have self test pre-approval, which it is clear is reliant on Ulster this weekend. It is so obvious to see what is going on if you reign in your expectations on timelines sp bagging overnight, you will understand that everything is going very well. ODX have already stated they have committed 200k per week minimum. Perhaps the reason antibody test are now getting less press is because they have solved the problem regarding supply of quality tests. It;s clear they are no longer accepting new tests for validation, because they have the test they want. We are in a tricky position, because we have a CE mark which means it can be sold, but Government have first refusal, and they will decide when they want to announce a deal. But we can only make so many per week. Even if we had no deal until Dec, we will carry on making them and stock pile them and the sales will be realised. If you spend some time really looking at the products of competitors out there, it really does show how competitive ODX products are, not just UK RTC which is by far the best, but Mologic products too. ODX know how to sell and distribute. It takes time to manufacture, approve and fulfill orders, but once things get moving, the numbers can get really big really quickly.
