Forget what the initial Uk gov contract is worth. Think how much the ABC-19 test is worth. We will be making 25% of global demand. Huge. The lower the gov contract the higher return.

I would bet all of my shares that ODX never produce a single test for Avacta. We can't even extend capacity quick enough for our own actual tests.

Mologic test will be visitect branded. Mologic have a proven track record in developing tests and bringing them to market. Why anyone would think CK would give up capacity that could be used to make your own branded tests at high margin for a non existent test for someone else's margin beggars belief.

Seeing as BBI announced this 2 weeks ago, i would say the consortium have had plenty of time to sort a deal. The timing of this order is most likely due to the ending of the MOU and they had to put in a holding order to avoid the consortium selling all to other markets. Chances of the consortium agreement being on the red button in the morning must be high. Certainly before Friday. Will they dare to give an indication of the level of demand from all continents! Colin's plan to further increase capacity could follow very quickly.

Vaccine efficacy is just one purpose of antibody testing. If boots had 50m antibody tests on the shelves for £13 a pop they would sell them because people are curious. Throw in immunity certificates people will take them multiple times over. They don’t even need a purpose. But the fact is they provide valuable i formation that can help save lives. It’s worth remembering the numbers required to achieve the high end valuation are actually quite small in terms of numbers of tests. With a global market demand will easily outstrip what omega can supply, for whatever purpose they are used for.

Anyone that thinks that that 1m first order is as much as this test will sell is clueless. I wouldn’t mind betting they could fill orders of 500m+ tests if they could make that many. It’s not about the commercials of one order this order is just opening the door. It also means a consortium agreement is no more than a few days away.

Commercially the lower the government take up the better, if Uk gov get a preferential price. There is only one reason the order is so low imo. If they come out and say they ordered 50m everyone will want one tomorrow and we know that is unrealistic.

Yes thanks. Come to similar conclusion to Finncap.... 2m tests per week is worth upwards of £900m MCAP. Good to know plan to exceed 2m tests. You should have crunched them a couple of months back when the share price was at 40p. Some of us did which is why we bought as many as we could.

Intrepidinvestor - joking aside profit is profit. But there have been significant indicators dropped constantly over the last couple of weeks pointing to a significant rerate. It's a shame some people allowed the fear factor to not believe it.

My view is ODX has significantly more long term potential. NCYT has benefited from being an early adopter. I believe the longer term revenue streams are more sustainable for ODX. We have tests that will be front page news. Test that will go all around the world. Tests at the height of the market on performance, price and scalability.

A quadruple play with lab and lateral flow antibody and antigen tests. A fully hedged Covid testing strategy.

This company is going places. Money printing machine over the next few years, building a significant cash balance and simultaneously building for the future to utilise capacity beyond covid, with products with higher margins!

Remember the Government order enables them to form an agreement, and more importantly start selling excess elsewhere more profitably.

Disagree with that. The Antigen tests may never be resolved. The Antibody tests have been deliberately omitted from discussions because they are in the bag IMO. A mass antibody screen will greatly reduce the number of Antigen tests required. These are ready to go now and can start to help getting the economy back up and running.

6 month MOU expires this week
CK in the presentation expects Gov contract soon, which will enable consortium to sign formal agreement including being able to sell outside UK Gov home and overseas.
News really should come this week.

We should see a trading update this month where we may learn of Elisa sales and approvals

On top of that the Antigen development for Elisa can complete any time, which opens the path to the Lateral flow antigen test by xmas. Lab test was supposed to be 2 months ahead so needs to happen soon.

Current MCAP is still a fantastic entry for the potential here in a very short space of time and the longer term.

It cost £1.1m to get to expanded capacity per the prospectus. They raised over £11m. £3m set aside for further expansion., They can find funds to increase and probably looking at other avenues, plus they have high revenue soon.
I suspect post government contract and supply agreement, once a larger order is in the bag, they can move further plans forward.

Yesterday was ridiculous!

Whilst the presentation contained little new information it’s hard to see how it would create less interest and not more.

People questioning CK presentation skills have no clue what they are doing. Whilst he isn’t the great speaker he is incredibly knowledgable, clearly has great business sense, has the upmost integrity and a clear desire to make a success of this company.

Much rather have a straight up guy like Colin that some slick back salesman talking up pipe dreams.
