Yes Monty the gold standard did achieve that. The biggest benefit to the gold standard though was to limit a governments ability to issue new currency, and inflate the money supply, with a gold standard they cannot print trillions causing our cost of living to skyrocket.

There is talk, and i hope it comes off, of BRICS nations using a basket of currencies backed by gold/other commodities, being used as a new global reserve. This would end the petrodollar along with these never ending wars funded by monopoly money, and restore some peace and order in the world, at least for a while.

To “the system is set up so that your labour, your time, is converted to currency, and then your currency is devalued. The system is set up in such a way so that your time and labour is devalued, without you noticing, a gifted few get to print labour, and use it to steal your time. And therein lies the truth you labour for peanuts, and then the peanuts are also taken from you, you are a slave to the system and you actively participate, even defend it.

To convert ones labour/time into money (aka gold) is to remove it from the system and therefore protect it from being stolen. If everyone did this the powerful could not partake in their legalised theft of our time/labour and would have to do contribute some themselves.

And that is why Gold will always be manipulated, barred from being used as money, because it makes the system “fair”

one thing to note with "Robbie" is that he keeps talking about how many shares he has, when in fact he is spread betting through an IG trading account, leverage is usually 2.5x - 3x in those for retail traders so he really only has 50m shares equivalent of his own money on the line, if the sp fly's he will make 3x which is great, if it drops his margin call will have him closing at a huge loss. Dont get me wrong I respect the gamble, but with volatile stocks like this I strongly recommend actually holding the shares which enables you to ride out any rough patches. I learned that the hard way taking an £88k hit on ARB when the margin call came knocking.

This is by far the dullest and least enthusiastic webinar to ever take place. Harry sounds like he is doing it because he has to, not because he wants to. Seems like he does not value his shareholders at all which was the vibe i got on the last presentation when he said he will get the project up and running, and “ideally” return some value to shareholders.

Technically when we are at stage 1 (about 14 months) the company would be worth about 5.4p for Bougouni if all is working as expected, so 2023 running up to that i would imagine 3p-4p, but markets always under/over value so could be 2p or 6p lol

Anything interesting at our gold sites (Jorc/JV/Sale) and could be higher

If its not level by close it’ll be up 10% tomorrow, no one wants to miss the main event next week.
