Momoni, KOD has very different resources to GGP, we are focussing on shallow open put as opposed to GGP’s deep underground stope mining process, but in share price terms yes, GGP got a JV and a few months later when the funds were secured and they started rapidly deploying 8-12 rigs for expansion drilling their share price went up 20x, peaking at around £1.5bn. The value of Bougouni is similar here, and once the funds are in I would expect at least 5x, more likely 10x over the next year or two.

I agree the value is not reflected, but investors want a catalyst to trigger a rerate, the issue with GGP’s position is that the timeline is all to transparent, the 6 weekly updates killed any chance of fomo, traders know exactly when news will land and what its likely to contain, plus the inevitable sell off. I think until the ramp up to production, or a new discovery is made, the excitement/anticipation will continue to be absent, hence the lack of new investors. When £££ in the bank becomes a near term reality pi’s will flood back in, GDXJ will then need to rebalance to the upside, and true value will out. I really dont think some shadowy organisation is trying to keep GGP down, especially now the additional 5% is off the table.

Absolutely, keep topping up, easy 3x-4x from here within 18 months. Just need less conspiracy theories, and instead a better understanding of trading psychology on the bb. The herd will return (inc me) in due course. GGP is still a sound investment.

GGP will go up when it it about to start producing, aka, in 6-9 months it should start heading back towards 20. Until then, no one cares, they can make money elsewhere in the meantime. Its that simple.

I disagree Daz, GGP went to £1.5bn mcap with a 30% share of a 3moz proven deposit. They are still 18 months away from production. If Fatou or Nielle turn out to be lucrative deposits, and we can attract another partner, it will add substantial value. But like you say, all in good time

My calcs put KOD Mcap at £3.51bn in 5 years @ $5000 Lith

If we are conservative we could say £2.5bn with Lith @ $3500

Then you can add our gold licences value, and any extensions to Bougouni as you please.
