We always have slightly different views but we do aways have a lot we still agree on.

I know if I disagree with you ,you will aways have a 100 facts to back up your view.

Airing our differences in a positive way is aways good for us all.

If he wasn’t charismatic he wouldn’t have got invited onto so many tv news channel’s.

It wasn’t just his little man that got him into trouble.

Now the dust is starting to settle,I see it only being positive going forward.

It does strengthen BPs hand tremendously in renegotiating some of the wind deals .

As a new boss would find it much easier to walk away.

I also think a new boss even if they don’t move out of renewables would look at everything and only reinvest in the ones that make real money.

BP does tend to promote from within, but maybe this time we do need something different.

New broom to sweep up those earning, and move a little more into the div pot.

It’s just a small passing storm.

Short term doesn’t change the earnings even slightly.

Now we have weathered the small storm it’s plain sailing going forward.

BP CEO must be a very attractive position.

Lots of cash and a value gap to its peers.

As I said yesterday the kind of appointment will tell us a lot about where BP is heading.

A few headlines suggesting we may be in play now for a takeover, but personally not something I want unless possibly with Shell, but everyone has different views.

Suspect BP had its pain yesterday in US and others are catching up.

If we get someone in quick ,perhaps that means they are not the right person.

It’s a bit like football managers they all sound good till you get them.

I think our next appointment of CEO will tell all exactly the direction this company is going.

If our interim CEO is given the job there is no real change in strategy.

If he doesn’t get it and that Texan Oiler gets it, I think he will leave.

And that means a major pivot in strategy.

If he doesn’t get it and someone comes in with the same strategy he may be happy to stay, as not all want to be the top man.

He is described as the power behind the throne, some are happy in that position

Well we had the whole Russian Ukrainian invasion thing and very little reaction to sp when we pulled out of Rosneft.

We had the none event reaction today to Looneys exit.

So the only non expected surprise event we have left probably is Happys bid for the company from one of the big American oilers.

The biggest insult you can possibly have is no reaction in share price.

If it goes up you were doing it wrong.

If it goes down you were doing it right.

No real change in sp means you are not being missed
