not really ts, i just searched 'michael ******* doc holliday' and that's pretty much all that comes up, except for a company gov.uk thing on 'volant services'.

have you googled the new personnel yet? if so, please could you elaborate on all these successful funding and drilling ventures they seem to be linked to?

i've been posting here long enough for most to know i'm just trying to make sense of it, i was uber bullish a year or so ago and kissed ecr's ar*se to my own expense!

Thanks Cash.. This personnel change was rather thrust upon us out of the blue and I've not had the time to fully digest. On the face of it, a 5 minute google search brings up a chap who made a CBD company (what's that got to do with ECR's sector?) and a prolific twitter poster/tiddler stock ramper allegedly linked to pump and dumps.

I'd certainly appreciate some more info to digest over the weekend for those who may have it to hand :-)

btw i do not back the article i merely found it at the top of a google search when i typed his name + doc holiday, it's public domain. i'm sure he's a decent chap, seems articulate in the interviews. but, i want to invest in companies and watch them grow. a bit concerned the above quote is playing out a bit with all the super rampy stuff immediately after the rns.

Not freaking out Ti. I could have sold my remaining 1m at a higher price but atm I'm not sure what ECR have to go on apart from a honeymoon spike and a bag of rock chips from AJ's pocket. Happy to be proven wrong though. I've moved to some less volatile stuff for now but definitely keeping my eye out for Lolworth news and the prevailing story.

ECR has had some fresh air and the sp looks to be bouncing a bit which is great for LTH's stuck in the mud (this new uber ramping lot don't give a hoot about real value they're clearly traders trying to suck in PI's to dump on). The itinerary looks a bit bleak for me to re-invest atm based on today's RNS. The honeymoon period will end and ECR will be left with months on end of faffing, unless they suddenly acquire a dry season license ready to drill.

I'm pleased for TS et all, but I air caution not to get too sucked into the ramping as in reality ECR has no short or mid term prospects apart from sampling results, which even if good probably mean just more sampling in that area for the foreseeable.

But, I re-iterate, I do hope for a recovery for the faithful.

Don't panic though, they have the expertise of a chap who built a farmers market CBD company to unpack the complex portfolio with a very finite budget. Cynical? yes, yes I am. I'm sure he's a lovely chap though.

Bit of a wishy washy RNS, no plan of action just maybe's and 'potential'. How do you extrapolate tangible value from 'potential'? I agree TI a battle plan is needed! Although if it's all based on rock chips then what if they're naff? Frustratingly no mention of upcoming drill campaign, particularly at Lolworth which is what I'm interested in.

Interesting to know what the third party second opinion entails RE Victoria? Hopefully it'll be an outfit with credibility! Don't want some yes men encouraging another £500k spend, we know Victoria's geology is too hit and miss to throw the kitchen sink at! - My worry is that they've realised Queensland is further off than planned so in the mean time they fart about in Victoria to look busy and 'earn their wages'... They've got to do something right?!

Literally the WHOLE point of hitting Queensland was to get out of Victoria's sporadic geology. It was becoming near impossible to pin down any consistency even with the antimony method. Ramping using Victoria as a buzzword screams ignorance, and IF that is their plan, then they're contradicting themselves.

AJ pretty much made it clear that Hurricane drilling is delayed due to further field work (to maximise bang for buck.. heard that before eh!), and Lolworth is still going through a preliminary ‘zone in’ phase so that isn’t going to have a drill plan for a while yet either. So, do I think these rampy pampy posters will stick around until mid next year for drill results? Nah.

Why have they not contracted out the rig yet ffs?!

To the new faces ramping ECR, please consider that the ‘negative’ voices have been here infinitely longer than you, know the history inside and out, and know the reality of this stock and how things tend to play out. Liken us to the guy at the used car garage who whispers ‘psssst careful with that one mate, loads wrong with it!’

Now that’s not to say we don’t want ECR to succeed, but don’t make out things are rosey here cos they ain’t! We’ve all been done up like kippers.

Yea Legal, us PI’s are the last to know.. I remember after ‘raisegate’ a few years ago Craig said future raises would be open to PI’s, never happened did it!

Also, I don’t think AH is a bad guy, he definitely looked uncomfortable and was perhaps pressurised to pump the stock. I suppose that was his job at the end of the day. I just feel bad for anyone who bought millions then saw it tank 30% a few days later! hey Ho

What's more disingenuous though, these transparent pump and dumpers, or AH suggesting we all buy 'millions of shares' knowing full well he was about to cause a stock tanking event with his shock departure. It's all shady af atm.

I skim read the RNS on the school run so apologies if I've misinterpreted anything , but having the 'salary' shares issued at placing price (0.175p) surely only 'incentives' them to keep the price above that abysmal all time low? Providing ECR trades above that, they get their £102k happy days. I'd have hoped for an incremental structure like the warrents, or is that asking a bit much?

Ha! fair play, the BOD have taken a pay cut. Hate to say it but had they done this months ago ECR would be in a totally different situation RE sentiment and cash position. Can't grumble though I suppose.

YES Legal ECR MUST outline what the rest of the year entails. Any fast tracking of Lolworth will get my sticky fingers all over the buy button.

Definitely agree with Craig being unlucky! In fairness any one of his Victoria assets could have been massive if the cards were dealt differently (Creswick could still be, maybe), my only criticism was that he didn't half lead us up the garden path at times.. The interview with him and AJ giggling like school girls about mines all over Baillieston comes to mind lol, rather emotional to think about really. I'm frustrated AH has left as he was a genuine premier league mining CEO with a strong CV.

Where our opinions differ is I think ECR is actually less of an investment and more of a hype train traders dream.. At least for now. That's why I sold. I don't think a beauty product CEO really has much chance of rejuvenating a distressed mining Co and I see Doc as the type who'd lead a pump and dump, a bit of a Gordon Gekko character. I think we'll see wild swings and all sorts of shenanigans.

If we get a solid plan and foot hold in Lolworth (in particular) you can count me back in. They have a lot to prove, not a lot to prove it with and not much time.. So if they do, then they''ll be worth their weight in gold.. Hopefully literally! ha
