Could ECR be used as an umbrella Co?

I'm just thing aloud.

Could this imply they're looking at buying out an already cash generative entity? to then use ECR's historic tax relief to maximize profit? Not as if ECR have a mine or anything to generate income at present (or even in several years even if the do strike). Interesting.

Perhaps the new license application is to make up for the possibility of not continuing at Hurricane?

Personally, that LiDAR image looked horrendous from a logistical standpoint, very mountainous, AJ spoke of the geo team having to be fit to climb the terrain in a podcast, raised a bit of concern in my mind. But obviously we have no idea so need to get clarity.

All this 'setting a better standard' and 'working harder' - I wonder what AH thinks about this rhetoric? Kind of insinuates the team were slacking off under his watch doesn't it.

I sold all but 1m at around .28 TI as memory serves so not far off where we are now. I started to suspect drilling was delayed at Queensland (which now looks to be the case, whether you buy the 'bang for buck' reason/excuse or not) and thought I'd rather diversify with a view to re-enter as/when an actual plan is in place. I don't like that AH walked away, not exactly confidence inducing, and I think the recent rise has a lot of hot money in it. We are all allowed our opinion :-)

Like I say.. jury is out. Yes they managed a private placing, but I'm suspicious of how many pump merchants arrived the moment the placing happened, have you seen Twitter/X as well? All the hallmarks in my opinion. Time will tell.

Nick seems genuine but I still question his ability to orchestrate a gold explorer, particularly a distressed.. at least AH had the relevant credentials. He mentioned that they won't always throw a 6/6, fair enough, but ECR has been rolling 1/1's for the past umpteen years so jolly well needs a 6/6, yesterday. Jury is out.

What would ECR's Victoria package be worth if they were sold do you reckon? I wouldn't have a clue. Important question to ponder though if ECR are committing to more capital expenditure.

Well let’s hope they don’t all collectively sell then, but you must admit, the red flags are there. A tsunami of brand new faces ramping the pants off a distressed stock after buying into the raise (evident by the fact they arrived the millisecond it happened). I suppose the hope is they are happy to stick around for a year or so for drilling to begin, but they seem a bit too rampy pampy ADHD for that IMO, particularly the Twitter lot!

What frustrates me, is potentially seeing a classic load of AIM BS play out.. long term holders shafted down to the absolute bottom, only for Gordon Gecko to bag a seat on the BOD and invite his chums around the table for easy pickings.. That’s my speculative opinion/guess anyway.

NT to buy any decent size this morning, I did think about it following on from my post on Friday. Only offered 100k and I wanted more. Potentially a good sign I suppose.

TS I literally said I am contemplating riding said hype spike, but I aired caution as what goes up most often comes down harshly (when built on hot air) and often retail PI’s are left holding bags when Doc’s telegram mates decide to pull the plug (just opinion but come on.. the ramping is industrial! bet on victoria so gawd knows what their view is now?! i can’t imagine they are happy and could be looking to exit if ecr spikes. that is also a consideration of mine when tempted to jump on the hype train for a few k.. there will undoubtedly be pi’s sick to death of ecr waiting to unload.

also, aj talks of a field team, but every video just shows him **** in air chipping away at rocks. is he a one man band in them there hills?! seems a tad amateur.

I mean that argument could be said for Phil & Colin.. they bought millions (in fact tens of) and everyone assumed it meant a sure thing was on its way.

I suspect those buying atm are betting on a hype spike, and they’ll probably get it! Only slight issue is as they say, what goes up must come down and some will be left holding bags unless ECR pull out a mighty RNS, because let’s face it, rock chips and ‘we have a few zones eyed up for 18 months time’ (or whatever) isn’t exactly going to cause a material re-rate is it?

All fun and games lads. Everyone’s trying to figure out the jigsaw puzzle. I have no doubt the hype train will keep the ECR spike run going into next week. The question for me is that of strategy.. Do I think ECR’s asset position is as strong as when I bought in? Chris no! In fact the last big hope (Queensland) looks delayed however you dress it up.. So, I’m left pondering the dilemma.. Do I jump on the Doc induced pump and try and make a few K because until proven otherwise with commercial grades that’s what it is ultimately, a pump.

It’s a question of personal strategy. Obviously LTH’s who are still invested are enjoying the love fest, but I do suspect we are amongst some rather incredulous wolves.
