Interesting post that Hopefullygold. I presume in the unlikely event ggp were to delist from the UK exchange and trade solely on the AXS we'd have enough warning to do any switches (to II or wherever)? IE the shares wouldn't suddenly suspend and anyone in HL are fooked?! ha

Thanks Martc, that's encouraging. Only ever owned UK stuff so never really thought about it but if I can own the AXS 'version' (if that happens) in my HL ISA then fine.

I'm not a tax expert by any means so apologies if this has been answered in the many posts blow or I have the wrong end of the stick.. But as we're on the subject.. I've built a half decent ggp holding in my ISA that I assume is shielded from tax going forward (barring any Labour shenanigans). IF ggp was to be listed solely on the AXS and therefore outside of the current UK exchange jurisdiction.. What happens to my 'shielded' ggp AIM holding? If they are suddenly liable for tax then wtf?! - Or would the AIM holders have the opportunity to sell up and crystallize. I mean if duel listed then I assume all is fine as the UK stock will still hold fine within the ISA. Hope that all made sense lol.

If a raise happens here it won’t be to keep the lights on and gravy train going like most other aim companies.. It will be to assist the purchase of a highly valuable asset. Dilution yes, but larger (or whole) share of Hav means $$$ for years to come at a ballooning gold price. I imagine it would bounce from any raise price very quickly. I have a bit spare in case it does dip, but I also expect any demonstrable inkling that ggp will own the farm will send the sp into orbit anyway.. we may finance in other ways or get bought out anyway.. no point assuming at this point.

Although saying that.. it does ‘feel’ suppressed doesn’t it! Ie they’ve dropped the bid to manufacture a break in momentum on bugger all selling while punters were happily buying above bid.

Looking good! imo we didn’t need the gold price catalyst as we all know a deal is brewing so anticipation was going to come into play.. BUT, having our core asset value increase minute by minute has clearly done the trick. We’ve been bobbing at this level like a duck so breaking out could cause fireworks while we wait for THE news. Not necessarily sausage, we could partner up with a major and retain a % or carry. But obviously this requires having a juicy prospect a major wants, which so far, we don’t.

I think the anxiety point is that funding is scheduled for the chippy stuff not the big boy stuff, but yes TS any of those cash generators would be a life safer!

Yes ECR say they are funded, but it's all for seemingly grass roots stuff (testing, trenching, sampling).. Even if we do have $ to drill a few holes at Lolworth (which is what I assume most are banking on for a re-rate) it worries me they'll do their shallow prod method rather than extensive probing. Jury is out, but any 'proper' big boy work will undoubtedly require further fundraising (which isn't necessarily a bad thing IF the schedule is strong and the campaigns are more professional in nature - ie not just Adam and a trowel).

What we wouldn't do for that £4m tax money eh! that would put us back to cash levels of when I first invested!

People are buying here and dumping there Tech, it’s why we can’t ever catch a break however you dress it up.

Just an observation..

ECR seem hell bent on re-testing old cores, presumably as it allows for newsflow while we aren’t drilling. BUT, from a cost/economical standpoint should this not have been tested previously when the cores were originally drilled and sent off to the labs? Haythorpe waxed lyrical about antimony detection so they surely knew to look for it.

I’d like to see new cores being drilled and tested as I’m not convinced these old ones are economically viable due to minor width hits + we already know they don’t contain the Au we all want to see.

I also don’t think it’s worth bickering about the tax sale, it’ll either happen or it won’t we just have to wait it out.

In the meantime, let’s get some proper new drilling sorted as it’s all a bit old warehouse stuff atm. And at depth. I’d rather ECR go broke with some proper S or bust drilling than poke around in the shallows just to keep the lights on with faffy 1m intercepts that clearly don’t interest the market.

Missed the excitement here, gawd the intraday looks a bit sad, lovely spike eroded but hey 14% isn’t to be sniffed at I guess.

While the use of the adjective ‘exceptional’ is certainly good for enticing investors I too eye rolled at the width and depth, felt a bit dejavu..
