Hate to be 'that guy'.. But I think investors are owed some form of update regardless of the secrecy of the impending deal. GGP is a multi faceted operation and the input to market lately would make a breadcrumb blush. Let's not forget who they dilute to keep the engines running. Nick seems like a nice guy, not totally convinced a CBD entrepreneur has the credentials to grow an Australian mineral company but the jury is out. He doesn’t seem to have the same online presence that Mike and his mates do though, from observation.

I think you are right. Mike is known for penny stocks and the crowd that partook in the .175 raise were clearly pump merchants (we all saw twitter erupt overnight after the raise). I think this strategy could have worked a few years ago but the market is fed up with ECR so no amount of jazz or word salad will work this time (which is why we are back to square one price wise). Not for a lack of trying though, I don't think the new BOD have done a bad job with the toolbox they inherited.. But the idea that ECR was going to rally on hype alone has clearly not paid off.

Good stuff! easy to hyper focus on one aspect of the business and forget how multi faceted it is! An additional find would make us an absolute beast.

The problem is, ECR have said a lot of things that have not materialized and frankly the market doesn't believe a word of it anymore hence our inability to remain at or above the placing price. It's all well and good saying the phones are ringing off the hook, Creswick hosts £20m pockets of gold, there will be a mine at Baillieston and CW, BM has an 80k resource etc - Not to mention the incessant tweets about neighboring companies and/or the gold price as if it'll somehow adjust our fundamentals.

Mr Market is saying show me the money.. and as dara has pointed out, so far ecr hasn't, which is why we languish at these pitiful lows.

If BM hosts a 250m resource then why has a partner not snapped our arm off? Perhaps that's the next RNS eh Ti? ;-)

Tbh if they were going to ever do such a fundamental shake up like delist from UK, we’d surly be given plenty of time to get our houses in order.
