@Macminge. It was on RT 's watch that TIG came close to ruin and they have risen from the ashes. The curious thing is, that if indeed RT was instrumental in steering TIG to the main market, given all his recent assurances to shareholders, why couldn't he manage it for QPP? Enough said - reputational damage is hard to fix. You might do well to focus your efforts elsewhere. Clearly you have an axe to grind here.

Interesting....non exec director purchases 30k shares at current market price of 88.4p. Cost £26520. Not an insignificant sum. Of course some director share purchases can look like a desperate attempt to instil confidence in times of trouble but in this case, vlx went through the worst a while back and are progressing well. So, this transaction is a good sign imo.

Good stuff. The Heads of Terms agreement has recorded the high level position between Corac and Spirax Sarco prior to entering into a binding contract. Financial details etc are yet to be negotiated but what is clear is the commitment to get CET products to market following successful testing. GLA

Trawled the internet, Twitter etc and couldn't find any references to CFO's departure except the official RNS. Sharecast gave a really useful synopsis of the results though which summed up progress quite well imo. Meanwhile, 54p seems a very long way off Mikey. It would need approx 900% growth from current sp. Not impossible but could take a very long time give that we're talking about an engineering company. Good luck though.

Mikey, I too think that the fall today is more to do with the sudden unexplained departure of the Chief Financial Officer. After all, the interims, although unexciting, still show the component businesses moving in the right direction and a confident forward looking statement for the full year from the BoD. Let's see what comes out in the wash. There might be something on Corac's website. I'll take a look later.

Spot on PingPong. RT has nothing to do with TIG now and took a number of his associates with him to Quindell. I think that TW's passing references to TIG relate to RT's time there. At least TIG succeeded on entering the main market (after RT left) which says something!

Thanks PessOpt-imist. Ideagen is definitely a cut above the average AIM business and is one which has solid foundations. I think that one of the issues is that many AIM 'investors' are looking to make a fast buck on highly speculative shares, rather than invest in a business and look to the medium to long term. So they just get bored and move on when there is a lack of news especially via the RNS medium - hence sp drift. Nothing wrong with that strategy if it suits. Meanwhile, I'm happy with this one for the longer term.

Business progressing nicely. In line to meet market expectations for FY. A reminder that currency fluctuations have an impact for global businesses such as this. Will be interesting to learn who the proposed acquisition turns out to be.

See RNS. Too much to post here but significant gains on H1 last year in terms of revenues, profitability etc and dividend to more than double. Also more generous dividend policy set out for 2015. Looking forward, BVS sets out mitigation strategy in the event of a market downturn at some future point. First class.

....and interims due on Monday. Govt schemes and BoE deferred interest rate rises are helping housebuilders in general. Bovis has considerable underlying strength in any event. Look forward to more positive news next week.

Yep, I got a response today as well to comments I lodged on the investor section of the website yesterday. Aside from the apology about failing to respond to previous emails (I haven't sent any before) it's identical. Giving additional info to regulated shareholders must mean regulated Fund Managers who hold CRA shares within their investment funds. In the case of CRA that's M&G and L&G who retain between them CRA shares of around 35% . Despite the sp decline their holdings remain solid as I said before. Fund Managers don't always get it right but they know a lot more than I do about CRA.
