Pity CRA hasn't had the good grace to respond to your emails Mikey and Kashmir. I'll have a go too. Maybe if they get enough, they'll take notice. Meanwhile, I find the share mark down today to be a bit puzzling. If the trading data is to be believed then buys total approx 196,000 shares and sells 70,000 odd. What is also interesting to me is that when I first invested here in January this year there were virtually no trades and a lot of surplus shares floating round. The share didn't move for weeks. More recently there has been a lot more activity but relatively small holdings driving the price down. CRA didn't reveal any unexpected nasty surprises in their finals and I remain invested for the medium to long term partly because of their diversity which provides some support for CET and partly because I like the idea of investing in a company which actually MAKES things and counts the likes of BAe amongst it's customers. As far as I can see CRA still has solid institutional support. If CRA comes good with solid profits or we have a CET breakthrough, I am sure investors will be amply rewarded. Just as well I'm in no rush!

Good spot Vincent. In the past Corac issued news of contract wins/orders via RNS but now only post info on their website. RNS's cost money but it would certainly help to boost the sp and gain investor interest if the company relayed news officially via the stock exchange.

Positive AGM statement - business is ahead of expectations and transformation plan accelerating. Good stuff.

Hi bear. Agree with everything you say. I bought in at around 10p so sitting on around 30% loss at moment. Some of my other small caps are doing well/have done well (banking some profits along the way) and with others I'm playing the waiting game (just like CRA). Anyway, all the best with your investments and let's hope for some positive news here before we kick the bucket.

Two reasonably sized Director buys in two days at a premium to the proposed placing price.

Agreed Reddevils, and I think the fact that there was very little movement in the sp today given the placement news supports your outlook.

Today, Finncap have upgraded to 'buy'.

Agree Debeege. Seems that the placing has already been factored in to the sp to some extent. At least the discount at 6% (75p) isn't ridiculous. This wasn't the sort of surprise I had in mind! So, in the absence of any disappointing news in the meantime, 75p is likely to be the floor here for a little while, assuming placing resolution is passed. What is clear to me is that the transformation plan is unlikely to succeed without reducing indebtedness. So from that point of view, I hope the placing is successful. Meanwhile, results are broadly in line with April's announcement. Hughsie, what are your tea leaves saying?

I hear what you say and its precisely because of the difficulties you spell out, that for me, this stock is worth a punt. Obviously if folks can get in cheaper then so much the better. Now, the interesting thing will be whether they come up with a positive on Thursday which the market is not expecting. All imo of course.

Preliminary results are due out on 12 June. For those who have a punt here, let's hope Volex have a pleasant little surprise in store. From the trading update in April, they seem to be moving in the right direction with new contract and recovery plan.

New MD of ACI announced to replace retiring one. New guy has some very serious MoD defence procurement experience under his belt. ACI are the most successful company in the Corac stable. Interesting appointment.
