Well hello Jolly. Weakened oil price environment means that oilers will need to seek out more efficiencies in extraction in order to sustain profits. CRA should be well placed here. Cashburn is offset by these decent contracts and was needed in order to move CRA forward. Companies need to invest in themselves for the future. Finally, management look to be executing deals just fine. I think your arguments are out of date. Time will tell!

Year end results due 3rd December

Just to recap on where we are: 1. ACI securing valuable defence contracts 2. CET products moving towards first commercial manufacturing with Spirax-Sarco following many months of development. Waiting for updates now. 3. HTT recruiting and starting to deliver growth All the component parts of the business are raising their game.

With a rapid rise, you can always expect a bit of profit taking. All depends on your objective.

Look good to me too. Transformation plan on track etc but I haven't drilled down to the fine detail so I'll have another read later on.

Interim Finance Exec for the group (presumably filling Jon Carter's role after his sudden departure) and a Sales Manager for HTT as part of its transformation plan. Interested to read that the finance Exec's responsibilities include supporting merger and acquisition deals and maximising 'bottom line' opportunities for the business. Not quite sure what that last bit means but I like the words maximise and opportunity.

In total agreement Rocal. Apologies to all here for the off topic. The TSCO bb is unfortunately populated by some pretty vitriolic and odious characters who either aren't invested or who have shorted the stock. Fair enough but they seem to seriously believe that what they say on a bb has an influence on an active stock like Tesco. It's like WW3 over there. Some folks just get too personally involved and take the bait. Seem unable to take an objective view of their investment. Never mind, it would be pretty boring if bb's were full of polite exchanges! Worth a laugh though. GL

RNS - 2 year contract with Zurich Insurance and possibility of renewal. No mention of expected revenue though. TIG are doing really well with valuable contract wins of late but could do with some figures for this one.

I've still got the same modest investment here (in terms of number of shares) and I still like what Corac are trying to do (not just in relation to CET) but the progress which is being made in the other parts of the business. So, it would be nice to see you back in with a punt if it suits you. Bought a few Tesco today. Calculated risk. SP is very close to NAV so on the face of it, looks cheap. Good luck.

Hello Mikey, if you go back to our posts on 30th July , you'll see that the response I had was the same as yours. So it looks like you were using the correct email portal as you did get a reply. To summarise, I asked them why recently they had not been issuing RNS's on contract wins and CRA said they would only issue an RNS for a contract of significant value. Unfortunately, I can't copy and paste with this Kindle thingy but you will find what you're looking for in the historic posts. ATB

e400, I'm in total agreement with you. Things are moving ahead for CET and other component businesses have a growing order book. The problem seems to be that some posters apparently have been here for a long time and the frustration is evident. The incessant moaning is tedious though and if they feel that fed up why are they still here? Mikey, if you recall, I emailed CRA a few weeks back about the reasons for not issuing an RNS following a contract win and got a reply straight away. Maybe you were not using the investor portal.

Of course it's 'jam tomorrow' Jolly, it's a recovery stock!
