Yep, it's been a while since we've touched 70p and a good day for vlx today. Final's not due til June but trading update indicates performance in line with market expectations so I read that as meaning transformation plan is on track.

My view is that IDEA are not your typical highly volatile 'blue sky - jam tomorrow' stock. This is because they're already cash flow positive and paying divi's with some impressive contracts in the bag. So, less volatility than most. I picked IDEA for a longer term play for these reasons but also do a bit of trading on the over - hyped, potential multibag or lose your shirt garbage. ATB

Symbility sold for £4m but value of this is largely offset for this trading year by reduced claims numbers due to benign weather conditions and contract 'slippage' by which I think they mean delays (given that we have positive contract news today). Also foreign exchange rates having an impact, as was the case last year. Overall TIG are anticipating performance to be in line with market expectations.

Impressive contract win worth revenue of £3.6m with £2.5m to be generated in next 12 months. RNS also states that this contract is the first of a number expected over the coming quarter. Excellent work TIG.

Investec reiterate 'buy' with 93p target

Prelims due in June. Results expected to be in line with market expectations. Transformation plan fully implemented and delivering benefits. Net debt cut by over 62% compared to March last year.

Henderson's increase shareholding to > 20%

The spread is so narrow though at <1%, the 'trades' data can't be relied upon. The only real measure is the sp movement and nice gains today. As regards an 'interim statement' this month, the half yearly interims are due in May and I'm not convinced we'll get one before then. Last year, the February interim was issued just prior to the placing announcement and provided an up to date overview of the business. Not to say that we won't get some contract RNS' s in the meantime. ATB

Streamlining and cost control measures. There's a net initial cost this year but this will be recouped in full by 2016 with net initial savings. Good housekeeping imo.

Yes Elliot. Gael acquisition was expected to be immediately earnings enhancing and to bring in revenues of £9m over the 12 month period. This £1m contract is a good start imo. More good news to come.

All the big householders are down so far today: Persimmon Bellway Taylor Wimpey Crest Nicholson Redrow Barratts Fickle sentiments over housebuilding sector - nothing unusual. BVS is still good value compared to some of the competition and all set for an excellent 2015. ATB

Given the sp increase today and tight spread I reckon most of those 'sells' are buys. ATB

Indeed Hugh-Jarse (great name). Very impressive growth despite shortages in contract labour. Outlook for 2015 is very good with increased land bank and estimated revenue of over £1 bn. That'll do nicely!

Interim Finance Director buys 29k of shares at 65.2p today.

Agreed Barrington. Final divi in May. Bovis had an excellent year in 2014 and is anticipating further growth in revenue and profit in 2015.
