RE: The Future is Green30 Dec 2020 10:35
The move for more companies to move toward NET ZERO will be a major driving force.
Green electricity (REGOs) are relatively cheap.
Green gas (RGGOs) are consdierably more expensive and the supply is tiny in comparison.
Whilst I thought it was electricity storage (large efficient batteries that would be the pot of gold), it seems that a way of producing cheaper RGGOs could be that as well.
COP26 in Glasgow next year will see a push for more governments & companies to move to Net Zero. This I believe will also highlight the green economy further and be a great push for the likes of EQT.
Small movements will occur till then, no doubt, and hopefully the company will prove that it is the go to company, so tie ups with Wood Group (Scottish based) are great as large energy companies in Scotland will be clambering to get involved in COP26.
COP refers to the decision-making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
In November 2021, the UK will be hosting the 26th annual session of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention, or “COP26”, in Glasgow.
At the summit, delegates including heads of state, climate experts and negotiators will come together to agree coordinated action to tackle climate change.
As well as the negotiations, there will also be space for countries, international organisations and other delegates to showcase climate action, highlight diverse climate change issues and share knowledge
