RE: Statement of Concern Regarding Framing of Scheme Document5 Feb 2026 10:09
It is really strange. People came up with different reasons explaining why BHP et al accepted the offer. Nothing applies to DGR. In fact, DGR themselves said the bid is very low. Even NM didn't vote. Then they are saying now, the bid is accepted. That's not normal.

China’s Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) today said the country will expand strategic inventories of copper. China is thought to have been accumulating strategic stockpiles of metals and minerals for decades, but rarely makes official public announcements regarding specific tonnages or dates of copper strategic stock purchases (last documented in 2009)
If NM was not able to convince Gina, who can bring Saudis, that this is worth more than 28p, then we have a problem or everyone, including NM, has sold us cheap
"Our CEO"??? The one with thise cheap and free options, high and getting higher salary and all thise provisions for change in control? And all that for selling_giving away solgold fir peanuts?
RE: CEO salary & change of control payments22 Jan 2026 17:03
The options plus the change in salary and provisions for change of control is very disgusting. The guy didn't finish even 1 year with the company and he dis nothing. In fact, one would ask what are their allocated roles in all this?

JCC bid was a clever move. All metals stocks are flying. If JCC is the winner (very likely), that's 28p and if it is others, the 28p is gift to them to avoid bidding from higher SPs.
