I know its tough to say patience will be rewarded but in this case the gift that keeps on giving continues to get bigger. My take on this now is that there are several large background buyers and they are not willing to spook the price higher as they know where this goes next year.

These guys are happy to allow the market makers to manipulate the price at these levels to accumulate shares from stale retail. How long can this go on - who knows - but one thing is for sure when they are finished buying and the available float that has been reduced, then the upward trajectory will be reminiscent of the move from 2p up.

All pension and ISA contribution are continuing to flow into GGP for me now

Few short term trades in Ftse 250 stocks since Monday has opened up a nice profit to increase core holding here.

Nightmare discount but when your main supporter is taking this size of stake the risk/return needs to be priced attractively.

These ones can be put away for 6 months and ignored - sentiment will return and the oil price will be $90

They stole a few shares there from a few shaky investors (don’t use stops with these shower of .)

Picked some up at 12.40 but was a fight to get them

China just flagged up the need for more stimulus and has reversed its direction with regard to monetary tightening. Global government bond yields tanking and gold finding a strong bid as growth assets face profit taking. Could be a great summer for Gold.

GGP price and Gold price working in tandem as they should. We rebounded with Gold from the recent lows and as Gold pushes back to $2100 we will track back to highs

Jack, for me it comes down to conviction in your holdings and this can only be done by research.
My three biggest holdings are GGP, EUA and BMN. I am confident with their strategies and have been invested from a very low base. I strictly follow my trading rules to take out my original capital and run risk free. When GGP pushed out above 35p I also reduced my stake by 30% as this was a target zone for me (in EUA I had 30p as a target zone and reduced my holding) I have been steadily redeploying that cash over the past few weeks with my most recent low by at 16.84p. (I redeployed £20K into GGP over the past 2 weeks. (I was buying BMN earlier in the week closer to 12p)

Once again I will chop out that original money when we hit 34p again and the rest will run free.

This is not a fail safe strategy as I have been caught in some companies that have thrown me curb balls. However if I stick to my capital out and trim at target rules, I am generally in a position to keep the portfolio going north. Some people can run 25 stocks but for me 10 is enough to try and research properly and watch the book

The focus on Market Makers is key to most aim stocks. Market Makers are happy to work as accumulators for Institutional sized clients. If an insto tried to buy in the open market they would never get a position. Market Makers agree a price with the Insto to get into a stock and its up to the mm to accumulate the stocks. How do they do it. - Create negative momentum and spin negative stories via BB platforms via faceless and anonymous posters. (some call them the 10p per post brigade)

The hardest thing to do for some is to hold and watch stock prices fall. For different reasons people capitulate - some it can be as simple as margin calls. Either way the MM fill their order and profit off others misery. Easiest seen when you watch the book and see who is constantly leading the Offer

This is the world of the Market Maker - your best bet is to join them. Average in and take advantage

PS they also so it the other way to enable Instos to get out - the pump and dump

Instos are the cornerstone of every large company. They are stable, long term investors who do extensive research prior to purchase. They invest on behalf of pension funds, passive funds and sector specific Funds

Unlike retail who chase momentum on the whole

Angry retail who invested in the high 20's 30's and have been margined out and are now on a crusade (possibly to get back in)
Good old fashioned shorts on spread betting sights
Market Makers who are accumulating on behalf of Index Funds
Newcrest in the background adding to their holding at a discount to the reality

Either way the opportunity to pick up stock at these levels is to compelling to ignore. After all Newcrest will most likely buy us out or at some point a surprise announcement will spark a very tasty short squeeze to 30p some morning

Plenty of those who want in lower playing the weakness of the presentation.

The man is not a showman but I agree 100% with the sentiment that he is limited in what he can actually say. Plenty of us have been here a long time and have greatly benefitted from the positivity that Gervais brought to the party. However Gervais was a CEO in an early days exploration company that he brought to a level where he knew his skills couldn't surpass. He brought in Shaun based on his experience and what he can bring to the table to take it forward.

Whilst the share price has come under pressure in 2021, so too has the majority of AIM. Liquidity has evaporated across the market. When liquidity picks up so too will the SP of a multitude of mining stocks.

I have a 2023 end game for GGP. I have a personal price target multiples of the current price and have been adding significantly. GGP, EUA and BMN are my major baggers in mining over this time frame and I will continue to add should prices drift

Market Makers have played a blinder with this over the last 3 months in a quiet illiquid market. Will be very interesting after watching todays price action.

Some of the comments I read on here are a joke. If you want the 100% move on an RNS I think you are in the wrong share. Take a look at the smaller gold explorers such as rock, landore, wsbn, Orr (to name a few - i funnelled profits from here over the years into these to replicate the move of ggp.

When we were buying in here around a penny these days were manna from heaven. Now it’s all about patience. Excellent research is being masked by the greyhound chasers garbage.

Learn to buy a stock and put it away. They are called investments for a reason. We were a punt a few years ago. Now we are a slowly building giant whom I have zero doubts about.

Highlighting the obvious but before I get accused of cross ramping, GGP is no longer about the small retail investor and their few grand buys and sells, it’s the institutional investors now.

Watching the book and their is a very hungry buyer. Whoever is looking for these wants them fast and is not prepared to leave an order in the hands of the Market Maker

orders- The desks are working hard on the BB's seeding doubts and flushing out stops and uneasy traders who are probably down heavy and capitulating.

I'm steadily buying - only way to beat them is join them
