Good luck to anyone who sells Monday in the hope of buying back in, this is one of the most illiquid stocks in the UK market. The tightly held nature of the stock should ensure the sale process is smooth

Watch those stops as well as the market makers will be after stock.

Share price close was reflective of the “rumour”. Some were happy to take the bounce and sell just in case the company rubbished the sky news article

For those that held the company delivered the clarification required. So many positives for holders as already highlighted including the clarity of who holds what %’s

This week will be explosive. Share price will react to what the potential offers may come in at. The predators will have to act quick as the market will quickly tack on the premium.

I probably phrased that poorly. My assertion is that no mention of the parties who are enquiring/engaging rather than offerees is to protect the process

I do not think an actual offer has been made

For what it’s worth I think that the company like the rest of us Ltd’s have watched a background buyer (maybe more than one) try to accumulate a stake in the company.

The size of the stake and the pinning of the price around £5 has led the company to call it out- Put up or shut up scenario

Tobin’s average purchases are around £5.30 so I don’t think he committed his cash and confidence over the last number of years to take anything short of £15

Personally I like the strategy of growth by acquisition that they have adopted and would like to see them continue this path as podcasting is rapidly expanding and the ad revenue is piling into the sector.

The world is a very fractured place and there is a reason major media wants to control ‘independent podcasting’ Jimmy Kimmell being the obvious flash point

It will be difficult to stay independent but let’s hope the minimum of a £200 million price tag and £11.25 is on the table

No mention of actual offer is most likely at requests of those jockeying for position.

Once the first formal offer comes in the rest will start a bidding war.

I am not being greedy but would like to see the value realised around the 200m mark
