If that is the case, I really don't see the point, I don't imagine bankers and large investors are reading these forums to check what the vibe is. Even if we all sold it would probably only be £3-5M max.
Might have been mentioned, but can't seem to find it, any ideas what caused the 5% drop yesterday? Just bought some RR this morning, hoping for just a 3-4% gain and i'll buy back in later, which kind of only takes me to yesterday prices I noticed.
Don't forget these are all different types of banks, Lloyds is more of a public sector bank, whilst on the other hand Barclays does investments as well as offer banking to the public, etc, Lloyds might need to diversify to gain better profits.
wouldn't call this a successful "rade" so far, well done on getting it 15% up this morning, but it's sitting at 8% now. I do think long-term it's a great share. I don't see any of these pumpers holding long-term tho, once they get profit they run off.
I wouldn't sit on this share. I would play with it. Would have been smart to sell at 70p, and bought back today. Would've bagged yourself an extra 5-6% of shares.
Barclays is only 14% away from being above pre-covid levels, whilst Lloyds is 33% away. Which may only seem like 19%, but is still a big difference. What is the reason Lloyds is lagging behind so much, yes their profits aren't as good as it used to be, but it still drag slightly behind other banks right? Not 20%...? Looking for insight, not saying Lloyds will go up 20% to catch up with Barclays.
