Hi SJ,
Not sure really, could be a number of things.
I would think that maybe investors are waiting for the flow results and some details of the plan going forward.
I think it may start to kick off when they do some company promotion, that will probably start once we know more about the potential of the assets.
It’s likely that a lot of investors have not done the research yet and actually know very little about AK and what the team are trying to build.
A bit of company promotion on a decent scale will hopefully sort that out.
Thanks Ed,
Great post.
If they can get up to 3000bopd, that would be a fantastic start.
Correct me if I am way out here but are AET producing around 4000bopd net to them?
They have been valued at £90 mill recently, so if we to a produce 3000 that would mean we are substantially undervalued?
There production is also offshore and they have some debt too.
Can’t wait for to get to C :-)
Thanks Nige
Thanks Ed,
Had a nice weekend thanks.
It was a nice day yesterday, so went for a decent walk.
Surprised to see some Lambs born already, so Spring is on the way:-)
Yes I agree, Extraction must think the shares offer good value, even if the shares went to 3p over the coming months that is only around £50 mil market cap.
Just another quick question, if they did go over the limit and trigger the takeover limit, what would that mean for us?
Thanks Nige
Morning Ed,
Hope you had a good weekend:-)
Great post as usual.
When you say they might drill more wells, is that because they see the potential to get more oil out?
I am intrigued by the Extraction plan of buying up to 99 mil shares at 1.2.
They obviously feel it’s good value for them, hopefully they are feeling that the shares are well under valued?
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed,
Great posts.
So do you think the 2 flow rates RNSs could follow each other very quickly?
Hopefully we are in for a busy March? :-)
KON 16 sounds very exciting, what an opportunity for a company our size in an Oil rich country like Angola
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed,
Great post again, sounds very interesting.
When I mentioned DL , I was meaning in regards to Mt Weld really, I think he had some involvement in bringing the asset to Corcel, I just wondered whether he might help with any future Aussie projects?
It’s going to be interesting, how it all shapes up over the next month or so.
Exciting times for sure:-)
Thanks Nige
Thanks Ed,
Great post.
I must admit I didn’t see copper mentioned on the presentation, so thanks for pointing that out.
It appears that AK has a very good relationship with Dave Lenigas, so maybe he will help with that alongside Yan.
Maybe the idea would be to sell any mining asset to IBM after initial discovery, as at that point capital will be needed to develop any potential asset.
Hopefully we will hear more of there plans in the coming weeks?
Thanks Nige
Thanks Ed,
I wonder what’s planned on the Rare Earths side?
The Canegrass and Mt Weld projects still feature prominently on the new presentation.
TBH I thought these would be wound down with so much going on in Angola but obviously these projects are still in there thoughts?
Thanks Nige
Looking at the presentation again, it looks like March could be a busy month?
Flow testing from 2 wells
Possible results from Canegrass
Possible results from Mt Weld
Maybe even news on Mambare sale
Let’s hope the sp pushes on :-)
Great post SJ.
I fully agree , great analysis from Ed.
As SJ says you always put the time aside to explain this technical stuff to us.
If it wasn’t for Ed, I wouldn’t have a clue what this stuff means.
Your work and time on here is very much appreciated.
It sounds like an exciting year for us all.
Thanks Nige
