Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
Morning Ed,
Hope you had a good weekend.
These results came in a little earlier than what the flowchart suggested, so good that they are keeping to the timelines on the presentation.
Do you think there is a possibility that this will be moved into IBM, along side the planned move of the other nickel projects?
Thanks Nige
Hi RL, the drill on the well being tested started in Nov and the results were announced end of Dec.
They announced there would be a delay due to weather and obtaining equipment, so hopefully we will hear very soon :-)
Thanks Ed,
Hopefully not too long to wait now.
It would be fantastic if we could get off to a good start.
The progress in a short space of time by AK and co has been staggering really.
It would be great for both AK and us if we get great flows from this first well.
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed,
Thank you.
It’s going to be exciting to hear the first results, something from mid to higher end would be a fantastic result for a company our size.
I did notice that on the roadmap, it currently looks like early April for the 2nd well.
Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long now :-)
Thanks Nige
Howdy Ed,
Hope you are well.
Lol, maybe he will wear it in the next video?
I was reading about this conference in Texas today, it does seem very important.
Chevron and Exxon have big projects in Angola and it seems Angola are over there promoting to drum up more business and interest?
It certainly looks like we are in right place at right time.
If we get an RNS saying JR is joining the board, that is definitely a big buy signal :-)
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed,
Lol It’s not very tropical here in the Peak District, just had a few dry days with a bit of a breeze and the grass was dry enough to cut but I promise I won’t ask you any gardening questions:-)
AK sounds like he means business, below is what he said recently.
“Definitely we are going to be ambitious and very aggressive while staying within the focus and the core values of the company. So yes, we are interested to pick up other assets, other blocks in Angola," he said. "In other African countries it's going to be wait-and-see...We are looking into other jurisdictions but that is going to be 2025 onwards."
That reads to me that they are looking at Angola production assets this year and other countries next year? :-)
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed and Breq,
Just on another note.
AK has mentioned in two different interviews that they are considering buying Angola production assets.
I just wondered what kind of production levels they would consider and how that could be financed?
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed,
Yeah great thanks, I managed to cut the grass at weekend before the rain came.
Your influence must be rubbing off on me :-)
$85bbl was a great price for sure that they managed to obtain, that kind of figure would do wonders for our cash flow and we get additional tax benefits from this onshore project too.
We just need to get cracking on it now :-)
There are a number of new board members who are experts in obtaining international finance, they have obviously been brought in for a reason, so hopefully the growth plans are being put in place.
AK has mentioned “aggressive growth “ a couple of times recently, so it sounds to me like he is in a hurry to meet those production targets?
All exciting stuff for investors with a bit of patience:-)
Thanks Nige
Hi Breq,
Good post, what would you estimate the cost would be if they did consolidate?
The new directors have vast experience in capital raising, so maybe they would have an alternative to cash and shares?
Thanks Nige
Morning Ed,
Hope you are well.
Sorry I was writing the AET post before I read your post:-)
Very interesting figures from them, hopefully we can be catching them up soon.
I hope Breq’s theory about buying further shares in the project comes to fruition.
That would definitely FastTrack our production levels without further drilling:-)
Thanks Nige
Not sure if anyone has seen the AET RNS this morning?
They sold there first cargo of offshore Angola oil for $85
This sale bought in $38 mill in pre tax cash.
Our assets are onshore and we will pay less tax, fingers crossed we can generate cash like this soon :-)
Thanks Breq,
Those are great numbers, just shows what can be achieved here.
AK has mentioned aggressive growth over the last couple of weeks, so hopefully they have similar numbers in mind?
AK has hinted a couple of times about further assets so let’s see what they have up there sleeve:-)
