Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Thanks Breq,
Great insight and explanation.
It makes you wonder why they didnt release an update when they had tested both the top and bottom?
Seems odd to issue an update on an unfinished flow test.
Morning Ed,
Bit of a shocker this morning.
Don’t you think it’s a bit strange to release an update saying there is a problem, when they are still trying to work it out?
A lot of wells must encounter issues along the way , that eventually get sorted out?
I am sure they could have waited a while, try and find a solution and then inform the market as to whether they have been successful or not?
The only credible reason I can think of is because of the timelines on the presentation?
All very strange
Thanks Nige
Morning Ed,
It was a shock to that kind of RNS for sure, no one saw that coming .
Considering work is ongoing and they still have to test the other well, it seems an overreaction to me.
The market cap is now only £8mill .
Thanks Nige
Thanks Ed,
Yeah it’s been a long wait.
it does feel a little nervy around the boards, so hopefully the company will update us very soon?
Do you think we may get updates on both wells close together?
Not sure how it works with moving equipment and stuff to the other well and how long the setting up takes?
Thanks Nige
Thanks Ed,
Yeah looking forward to the Easter break, whatever the weather we will try and spend sometime outdoors.
Great post as always, the board is extremely lucky to have someone with your knowledge to help us understand the technical side of it, so thank you for your input and the time you spend on here.
It would take me all day, to write your type of posts lol.
I just asked the question to cover all bases really, these flow tests seem to have taken a very long time, so hopefully all will be revealed soon?
The confidence shown by the company in the presentation and the way they now describe themselves hopefully bodes well with what is too come from the flow rates ? :-)
Thanks Nige
Morning Ed,
Hope you are well and looking forward to the Easter break.
I just wanted to ask you about possible scenarios for the flow rates, if you don’t mind.
If by chance the results were disappointing what would be the options?
We know there is plenty of oil down there and maybe even more Oil in place?
In that event would they try and stimulate the flow in some way, or would that not be economically possible?
Thanks Nige
Thanks Ed,
Great post as always, thanks for taking the time to explain it.
The big oil column was something that stood out from the original RNS, so it gives them something to work with and with modern techniques, maybe it will perform better then the historic figures?
Hopefully we are now entering a busy news period, so once the results of these wells are out the company will be able to tell us quickly about the forward plan and the potential production from the 2 wells so far.
If they do drill more wells this year, do you think there would be a possibility that they may improve on that year end target of 17500bopd?
Thanks Nige
Morning Ed,
Great post to start the day.
The presentation sure is an exciting read, it would be fantastic and life changing for people on here if they can pull it off.
I wanted to ask you briefly about TO-13, not much has been said about this lately but hopefully we will hear results on this in April.
Is this well expected to be a good producer or the TO-14 lead the way?
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed,
Hope you are okay, thank you.
A bit of doom and gloom seems to have set in on the boards recently, although it has been a bit of a wait.
You are right about the presentation, it states news anytime now so hopefully not long to wait :-)
Hopefully when both flow tests are done, they can crack on with the resource update and we can start to build some value.
Thanks Nige
Hi SJ,
It was just musings really, I hope they do 2 announcements.
The wording was vague in regards to the timelines, several weeks can be anything really.
Maybe they worded it that way as the time lines were unknown due to the dodgy weather in Feb?
We should get some kind of update soon?
Thanks Nige
Just been reading the news release again from 11th Feb.
I wonder if they will release the flow rates of both wells together?
“Once completed, the Operator will then move the test equipment to the TO-13 well pad, which is already being prepared for testing, and will conduct flow testing on the TO-13 well.
With testing underway, the Company now expects to receive initial flow tests results for TO-14 over the next several weeks and will update the markets on the results of the test programme in due course”
Hi Ed,
I have been on that site you mentioned, I will look it up.
LSE is a bit unreliable for RNSs, they are usually late and sometimes don’t appear until later in the day lol.
While you are on I just thought I mention that there has been talk of an shareholder meeting at some point soon.
Not sure when yet but If you attend I will buy you a drink as a thank you for all the help and time you spend on this board answering all our questions.
You are far more knowledgeable than me and it’s a massive help to me and others who watch this board.
Thanks Nige
Morning Ed,
You are up early lol.
Hopefully this is prep for a publicity campaign on the investor market.
We saw the professional quality of the recent “ intro to the board “ video, so hopefully more of these videos to come ?
When you see the market cap of some AIM companies with questionable assets, we are very cheap in comparison.
Thanks Nige
Thanks Ed,
Great post.
It would be great publicity if they were released as it would be fresh news on activities in the country.
The 17500 bopd sounds great, hopefully the company will be shouting this off the rooftops if this is backed up with good flow rates.
I don’t want the being bought out either, it would be nice to the developers the assets and grow to a much bigger company.
Hopefully we will know the next part of the journey soon.
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed,
Quick question for you, if that is okay?:-)
People are putting 2 and 2 together and saying that there maybe some link between the results that are due and the conference in Texas tomorrow.
Would the big players attending take much notice of a project of our size?
Thanks Nige
Hi Ed,
Had a nice weekend thanks.
Went for a decent walk in Derbyshire, weather was nice yesterday, Spring is on it’s way:-)
Sounds like wait and see really, maybe they will just sit on it for a bit.
As you say, it’s a small project in relation to the Angolan assets.
Hopefully news on those very soon:-)
Thanks Nige
