I reckon there is now a sense of urgency to complete the advanced JV negotiations to form a binding agreement for the benefit of copl as other parties are showing serious interest with the huge onshore discovery now.
If the major player doesn't get a move on, there could be a fight on their hands with other offers imo

Many assume that the placing shares have been or are about to be dumped. Maybe this time the majority will be holding like everyone else bearing in mind the news coming and the fact the company say.....
"Based on current strategy and updated expectations the Company does not believe it will need to raise further equity funding for the foreseeable future."
Maybe, just maybe this time they mean it lol 🤞
Seems like the average length of a traders participation keeps getting shorter and shorter lol
At 0804 someone bought 111,262 shares at 2.14 and sold the same 111,262 7 mins later at 0811 for a loss at 2.055 LOL
Keep doing that a few times a day for a few weeks and you'll have nothing left to trade with haha ;))
Thanks Eazy, that's very insightful what you've uncovered there :))
Ok, I must admit even I'm getting a little concerned about the price action here with financing update so close. Surely this should be rising not falling, unless the financing deal is going to turn out to be quite dilutive, other than that I can't think of any other reason for the drop bwtfdik?
All I can say is Mangrove must be desperate eh nudge nudge wink wink 🤣🤣
Louise's subscribed members for their blog are probably dropping like a stone so they have to make up their losses with 10p per post as a paid troll LOL
JV is definitely coming, I always said once financing sorted watch a JV land straight after as I think this is only thing holding it back.
Now we have an imminent time frame to work with as in, sometime this week, expect the JV confirmation to drop imminently also :))
Perhaps will see a move north of 35p today .....
I wouldn't even bother trying to engage with JohnBriggs Seahorse - someone like him isn't interested at all in the quantity or volume of buys. The only thing they are interested in is watching and hoping that CEG folds.
Somehow I very much doubt Eytan is going to allow that. He and his Aussie friends and family are quite heavily invested here, I still expect a farm-out here and very soon.
CEG have an awful track record for investor's. That is in no doubt at all. The share price over the last few years will testify to that.
But this has become a different company since Eytan took over. Through partly luck and being in the right place at the right time they picked up area OFF-1 when no majors were in the area. Then because of the rush with Shell picking up 3 of the neighbouring licences, Apache taking 2 licences (1 of those licences jointly shared between them) and YPF taking 1, that left 1 licence - OFF-3.
Due to the rules in Uruguay, with Shell having already picked up 3, and with CEG already having a foot in the door, this qualifed them to bid for and obtain the last remaining licence.
It can't be stressed just how much of a company making opportunity this now is for CEG. Given the focus on the area especially since last November, I fully expect to see a farm out with a major any time now. Would be great for a minnow like CEG if it was shell but in all honesty it could be anyone. The market reaction so far is one of not wanting to touch this with a bargepole until they see it in black and white because many many investor's have been badly burnt in the past.
That being said, a successful farm-out could lead to a substantial re-rate from 0.054p.
The recent CLN announcement certainly panicked a few, but I do not expect them to use the facility fully. Once a farm-out is reached I reckon they will cancel the CLN facility which they can do at any time.
As I have made very clear over the last 18 months I have traded this one, not holding for too long and made a small profit as I was weary of this stock breaking out for a while from it's 0.054 - 0.11 range. I have now gone long on this one as I see near term catalysts on the horizon that may change the direction of this company for the better and finally give investor's confidence to return or even add further for those already holding here.

You obviously didn't bother to look very far Briggs lad. There it is the TR1 confirming he is now holding 606M shares LOL, just LOL
Typical behaviour when someone's losing an argument to keep bringing up the past, and when I mean the past I'm talking over 4yrs ago.
And if your going to quote figures JohnBriggs don't make them up eh LOL
How exactly could I have lost 100k when it was just over 100k I had in NUOG all together - unless I was someone as dim witted as you to have kept it in right till the end and lost everything when it got suspended?! Shall we remind people of just how bad you are at investing? You still in NUOG when it suspended at 0.027p with me having got out at 0.17 with a 35k loss - NOT 100k
Just look at PANR, done well there, took a load at 10-11p and now 27.7p, some of my gains from there now into here at a great price thanks to those stupid enough to sell out just as this is getting interesting.
As for NUOG, don't blame me, blame the integrity of the board in general, and some with knowledge of the company will know exactly what I'm on about there. So blame no one else but yourself Briggs for pressing the buy or sell button if you lose money. I took my loss on the chin and moved on, made it back and some, maybe you should just accept you are not very good at this game, and your public rants make you look very very silly indeed ;))

"Lots of Jilted Johns on here!"
Ain't that the case in4cedros !!
And agree definitely a lot of bitter ex holders on here that are petrified that CEG might just pull it off this time :)))
