Look at the timing of the holdings RNS very carefully and work out for yourself if they sold to get a better price for the placing (for them!)? They will have had access to much better information on the KPOP revenue than anyone, so why would they sell out for a tiny profit? Looking at the trades, there’s no evidence of them selling, plus they are close to a TR1 boundary so any selling by them would be quickly noticed.

Hard to say LOD. I think that those that the broker placed with clients have been churned (seems enough volume recently to do that as well as the share price movement suggesting that), and I understand a small amount were also placed with institutional investors (I.e. funds not clients of Monacor) although clearly none above the 3% threshold. But Monacor still have a chunk from this and the last placing. That will be good for institutional investors who may want to take a position in the future as buying many off the ask with a relatively small free float in play is difficult (it was NT to buy most of today for example) or even possibly for those looking to do a takeover in the future and acquire a stake.

If you examine Live nation business they do music festivals, but they also sell tickets for the formula E events and have in interest in Formula 1, so it’s not inconceivable they might want more than KPOP. And I personally think that 50p just for KPOP would be a lowball offer.

6d, 6e and 14f were released with the first blocks on sale, they were the early entry and vip packages which are all sold out. There is also a separate block for corporate hospitality which is mostly sold too.

All seating tickets sold out now. That’s an amazing achievement and bodes well for getting sponsors onboard plus the merchandising and the streaming (where the really big income will come from)

Only 250 seated tickets left. Won’t take long to sell out of the standing tickets IMO. And those have been sold at the height of covid and with only 4 acts announced, which shows the massive demand for this. 2nd KPOPflex concert seems a certainty.

Live nation will be monitoring the sales carefully. Remember their business model is to aquire successful concerts/festivals.

Meanwhile back in in reality, lvcg have announced a massive KPOP band at their festival in a few months time and there has been a massive surge in ticket sales. Upper tier bocks are now selling out (if you check on the ticketmaster website). Soon be sold out giving circa £4 million in revenue from just the tickets (KPE get 50% of ticket income once it’s above the breakeven of 40%)

KPE get 40% of all sponsorship revenue. They are unlikely to provide news of any individual sponsorship, plus the full line up of bands has not yet been announced, so you would not set the sponsorship charging rate until that was complete IMO.

Enhypen really are KPOP big time. Over 500 million streams on Spotify. No wonder there has been a big surge in ticket sales.

But its the 100% streaming and broadcast revenue that’s going to be even bigger. Average live stream prices for a single group are $29.99. The festival is offering 5 hours of Live music from 4 of the biggest KPOP bands out there, who have over 40 million social media followers between them. If even just 1% of them streamed the festival and lvcg got 50% of the streaming income, that’s $6 million.

More than 26k tickets sold is massive. That’s more than 60% sold. This event became profitable at 40% sales, so confirmation that’s its profitable is a big statement too.

They have also highlighted that Enhypen are global ambassadors for the French fashion brand AMI which I am sure will lead to them wanting sponsorship at the event, particularly if this has global reach in streaming to 40 million fans. KPE gets 40% of the sponsorship remember.

This shows the revenue potential for kpopflex streaming. Global reach to scale the festival revenue up significantly.

Its the extended reach beyond the festival that’s really going to be the bet earner here. The 4 acts announced so far have more than 40 million social media followers and many of those are in the USA, Middle East and Europe.

Look at what blackpink made on a 45 minute streaming session last year, over $10 million.

Enhypen are massive in KPOP. Over 10 million twitter and instagram followers. That will be good for the 100% broadcast and streaming rights.
