Not only is that attractive for getting sponsors onboard, but this scales up well beyond the actual festival.

Having trolled this board for months on end about KPOP not happening because there was no update from the company, despite many telling you that progress was still being made, you got that spectacularly wrong when it was announced. I didn’t see you making any apology for all your trolling either.

You will similarly get this wrong too. All the evidence clearly points to omnicron being milder than delta and this wave passing quicker than the others. Its already passed in South Africa. The KPOP festival is still 4 months away and headed into the summer. IMO it will go ahead.

Kpopflex ticket sales are going well. All the VIP packages at £243.70 and the Early entry packages at £142.86 are sold out. Most of the first tier of seating is sold and big chunks of the upper tier sold too.

South Africa has lifted overnight curfew rules, with officials saying the country may have passed the peak of its fourth wave of Covid-19 infections.

A government statement said the Omicron variant, while highly transmissible, had seen lower hospitalisation rates than previous waves.

NCT Dream proved that they are indeed the "Future of K-pop" after ranking No. 1 on Hanteo Global's "Top 50 K-pop Artists" in the first half of 2021 - even beating BTS.

I expect they are holding them NR. ETX sold into the rising share price of the KPOP announcement; why did they do that? As part of the placing discussions they will have had access to better projections on KPOP and other revenue than any PI, plus it was stated on the most recent proactive interview that the company were offered even more funding, but went for the minimum they needed (whether you believe that or not). It does give a good chunk of shares if an II or fund subsequently wanted to take a decent stake, as buying a big chunk off the ask would not be possible without a big rise in the SP.

IMO the KPOP festival is going to be transformational for the company, especially the 100% of the broadcast and streaming rights. The chairman has already said that revenues will be “7 figures and not single figures” and that’s no doubt his projections before the 100% streaming and broadcasting rights kick in. The bands they are attracting for the festival are very popular especially in the USA and streaming is a premium product.

We already know that Bricklive touring is recovering well, so I personally expect lvcg to be well in profit next year. Then with the volvo ocean race and the formula E will generating significant revenue in Feb 2023 giving another kick up to profits. If they land another kpopfest in 2022 that will also be big.

At some stage the market will not be able to ignore this.

Seems that there is quite a lot of activity on the kpopflex accounts on instagram and twitter giving clues as to the next kpop act to be announced for the festival. That seems to have led to quite a surge in buying tickets. All the clues being dropped point to a group with a massive following around the globe.

Monsta x are up to no 6 in the billboard charts. Clearly very popular in the USA. Those 100% broadcast and streaming rights are going to be big revenue generators, much more than the market is currently assigning IMO.

Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope that the fortunes of LVCG shareholders completely change next year. My own calculations showed that the company were headed into profit next year with bricklive and their new LCSE division. However, the KPOP festival in May 22 is going to increase that potential very significantly IMO, especially when (not if) they land another festival. With Formula E kicking off in Feb 2023 that will be another kick up in profit then too. The most important extracts from recent RNS are below, I.e. the placing is being used to expand the KPOP concept. The RNS of 9 Dec makes it clear that the Chairman is looking to demonstrate the concept and then sell. GLA

The KPOP.FLEX festival represents a potentially substantial income stream for LVCG in 2022 and the opportunity to replicate it in other parts of the world. Revenue from ticket sales to date has exceeded expectations. To provide funding for the KPOP-FLEX as well as the expansion of the concept and additional working capital for the growth of the Group post lock-down, the Company has raised £0.40 million (before expenses)

Company have yet to restore financial guidance, but worth reflecting on what the new division have achieved in only 12 months and what the predicted revenue streams might be. Note that the current operating costs of the new division are circa £300k.

New division already operating profitably this year.

Formula E. 5 + 5 year contract to host in Cape Town from Feb 2023. Being paid a management fee of £350,000 now and minimum revenue from the event expected to be £1.2 million. Could be more with the sponsorship and ticket sales profits.

Exclusive rights to host efest alongside. Includes week long activities and a new golf tournament (Ernie Ells hosting) plus a concert.

Cycling event in March each year. Likely revenue between £200/400k. More if the event village gets opened up.

Ocean racing event. Cape Town stopover which will last about 4 weeks. I would expect a minimum of £500k plus more from the activities village (last time it attracted over 1.5 million people).

KPOPfest in Europe. Option for 5 years. 2 headline acts announced already, ticket sales already more than 14000 at this stage. More acts to follow. Management fee of £200k plus sponsorship, 40% share of ticket revenue, 40% of sponsorship, 75% share of merchandising and 100% broadcast and streaming rights. Expected revenue of more than £2 million. Streaming rights likely to add a considerable amount on top of that IMO. Considering another festival in Europe in 2022.

So already profitable in 2021 from a standing start, in 2022 looks like this new division will see a big uptick in revenue and profitability. Plus there will be another big uptick in revenue and profitability in 2023.
