Future of "green" stocks12 Jun 2012 15:46
I used to be invested in TEG and nine other so-called 'green' companies. All ten of these companies (ie 100%) were huge loss makers for me. I was one of those who invested some six or so years ago, unwisely in hindsight on the first spike in each case. I finally lost patience after about five miserable years and sold TEG at just over 8p thus realising a huge loss, when it finally dawned on me that green companies just do not make money and may not do so for many years, if ever. In the meantime I admire the grit and tenacity of those who have stayed invested through thick and thin. They may make money on very short term trading but will have to wait a very long time if, like me they bought in excess of £1. GLA
