BUT…giving the relavent notice,and going through consultation takes time,executive action is pretty much,there you go ,it’s happening on such a such date…
So,if the mandate finishes,does this mean executive action finishes,and then Royal Mail are slowed down as they have to give notice.

My point is…
If everyone knows that these can and will be brought in anyway under executive action,when does executive action finish,is it when a mandate finishes.

So in essence as long as the cwu keep banging on,all the changes gradually get implemented,even the very bad ones that the cwu hate.

So..have Royal Mail got a small timeframe to implement everything under executive action,as the mandate is ticking.
Iam struggling if this is the case why the cwu have not agreed to royal mails wishes,if they no anyway there going to be implemented in any case,the more the postie keeps the mandate going,the more is implemented as executive action is live.

So again,does anyone no once the mandate is up,executive action can not be implemented

So,can Royal Mail with executive action bring these in anyway.
And if they can bring them in through executive action when is it deemed executive action no longer applies.
If the cwu carry on with mandates,does executive action carry on.
Once a mandate finishes and there’s not another,does executive action finish.

If both run side by side, is it not in royal mails advantage for the dispute to keep running.

If this is correct does Dave realise he’s getting weaker day by day.

Talks with CWU conclude without agreement
After 11 months of talks, including mediation by Sir Brendan Barber and Acas, we are deeply concerned that our talks with CWU have concluded without an agreement.
Where did we get to in the talks?
We thought we were making progress. The CWU seemed to understand the serious financial situation we are in.
They seemed to recognise that change is needed. We understood that agreement was within touching distance, and we were hopeful that the CWU would finally put a deal to its members.
We made substantial efforts to reach an agreement, including making a number of further improvements to our offer. These improvements were all based on feedback from the CWU.
As we continued talks late into last night, whilst we had made progress on a number of issues, the main sticking point was new contracts for new starters.
These contracts were introduced last year, and we had offered to level up over five years. The CWU did not accept this proposal.
The offer
Some of the improvements we made in the recent talks include:
Pay - We increased our pay offer, and extended the offer until April 2025. We offered two options to the CWU:
o Option A: 10% three year pay deal, plus £500
- 2% pay rise from April 2022 (already paid), 6% from April 2023 plus a lump sum of £500, 2% from April 2024
o Option B: 10% three year pay deal, plus £1,500
- 2% pay rise from April 2022 (already paid), 2% from April 2023 plus a lump sum of £1,500, 6% from April 2024
- Plus achieving pay parity for new starters over a five year period
Allowances – We said that all allowances would remain for existing employees
Profit share – We proposed a significant profit share arrangement for employees, so that we all benefit when we get Royal Mail back to profitability
Later start times – We amended our proposal so that start times in delivery offices would move 60 minutes – 90 minutes later (instead of our original proposal of up to three hours for everyone), with a last letter delivery time of 4.30pm. We also said that no start time changes would happen until March 2024, to give everyone time to adjust
An independent review of conduct cases led by a senior lawyer
These improvements are designed to reduce the impact on you, whilst ensuring the business can transform and survive. This builds on other improvements we have made earlier in the talks, including:
Job security - Commitment to no Compulsory Redundancy for the life of the agreement
Sunday working – Remains voluntary and we keep the Sunday Premium for existing employees
Where do we go from here?
In the end, the CWU were unable to agree to the change needed to ensure the future of this company.
There is nothing left to give.
We urge the CWU to agree the deal, and put it to a vote.
That is in the best interests of Royal Mail, our customers and all our employees.

I have dealt with a fair few of these cases,now if the union will not take it on,and you think you have an extremely good case,then you can get a solicitor to take it on,there are some out there that will look at the case,then take an agreed 20% cut of the payout…the individual pays nothing…BUT…it has to be a very good chance of winning,one of the main problems you will have is royal mails policy with regards social media,if this has been breached and brought the company in to disrepute,your ****ing in the wind..the main union solicitors I no have cases and cases on there books,also on the day of the hearing,a lot will depend on how the judge likes you,believe it or not,or how you come accross…I have seen cases where you would say the employee has no chance and to everyone’s amazement they have won,we have also seen the flip side to this as well.

The cwu call strikes,so what…Royal Mail can sit back and see how many employees cross the line,if a lot they can just wait till the strike fades out.

If it doesn’t fade then fire and rehire,they would have nothing to lose,the government won’t do anything,in fact it could help them further down the line if Royal Mail dump the posties…

The share holder wins regardless of which way this goes.

Let me go one further as an add on,with either a monthly or yearly subscription.
Apple air tag,sown into cwu bobble hat,then here’s where it gets interesting..

Personally I am not one bit bothered about the posties,they’re cannon fodder,I posted the article as there a little more nice about them.
Iam in this for GLS…I have followed the money which has not let me down in any shares I have owned,I have doubled down from up top,to bargin basement prices on every 50p drop.
A costly strategy as it gets expensive,but the rewards are there,and that strategy looks like it may do very well.

Analysts have a negative value on the posties,so Dave can huff and puff all he wants,the posties can shout strike,walk through parliament,in fact I hope they were tracked by Royal Mail on that day,they all moved quicker and waved and proved beyond anyone’s imagination they can move if they need to.
Share holders cannot lose from where iam sitting,administration and we are free from the cwu…all debts gone…share price rises.

Dave and the cwu collapse,and huge change happens,uso fails,government will be under huge pressure to amend the uso,which means job losses which equals profit….share holders win.

Posties go into administration,basically the same happens,administrator cuts back,uso fails,government amend the uso,no one can afford huge losses,the torries have an election looming,the last thing they want is Royal Mail and all its debt on the country’s finances,the voter would go mad…

Now the price…I would be disapointed at anything under £4 a share….remember it’s the big boys who will set the price,not kretinski…forget any rules about average price you can dig up,gls makes 400million a year nearly…he will have to pay for it,if he doesn’t he won’t get it…I can tell you one thing,owning 90,000 shares,I will be selling half on the first offer,if that offer does come,if it doesn’t…then I will just sit and sell on the way back up,in 50p increments.

I will also thank all the TAF posties for helping push the share price down to bargin levels,every man and his dog knows that gls is worth more than the current share price..MADERIA in a weeks time,sat on a boat..

WORTH A READ FOR THOSE WHO DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THE SHARE PRICE IS STABLE

The Royal Mail share price, now known as International Distributions Services PLC (LON: IDS), inched higher today despite the Communication Workers Union (CWU) saying that it would call for further strikes soon if it cannot reach an agreement with Royal Mail’s management at today’s crunch talks. 

Yet, as I have pointed out severally, Royal Mail (IDS) shares barely reacted to the news and were trading up slightly at the time of writing. The parcels company’s shareholders seem primarily unbothered by the daily losses incurred by Royal
Royal Mail has warned investors that it is on track to book an annual loss of £350m-£400m this year, yet its shares have mainly remained stable despite the ongoing losses. The company’s management has threatened to declare insolvency and put Royal Mail into administration if it cannot agree to a deal with the CWU.
One of the reasons why Royal Mail shareholders are still confident in the company’s prospects is because of its other businesses. The Group also owns GLS, an international parcels business based in Amsterdam that is on course to generate adjusted operating profits of €370m to €410m in 2023.
Most analysts have already discounted the value of Royal Mail, IDS’s UK parcels and mail service, which operates under the universal service obligation to deliver to every UK address six days a week at a uniform price. This is the loss-making part of IDS’s business. 
The lack of a significant reaction from Royal Mail shareholders whenever the CWU strikes or issues another strike notice is because most of them have written off the Royal Mail business. Most analysts ascribe a negative value to the business. Therefore, the Royal Mial business does not contribute much to the company’s market valuation. 
Still, the Royal Mail Group’s future is hanging on a tightrope as the company’s management considers separating it from its other profitable businesses and even putting it into administration. The next few weeks will be crucial for the company.
