Rhambo- first thing is, Iclaprim hasn't been rejected or it would have been lights out back in May .
Second, had there been no way forward and no viable plan, Hercules would've pulled the plug and not have been working with MOTIF.
Third- As much as the funding situation has not been resolved, I believe that there are funding options for late stage development. So as much as this is a risk, people who I best in these types of companies understand the risk, but if/when this is resolved, the upside would significantly outweigh the risk.

For the reason mentioned, if you haven't already done any research and can't afford the risk, then maybe the stock market isn't the place to invest.

Now- reading your last post would, you most definitely sound like you haven't even got a single share here, so why bother warning people who are here and who have done their reaearch?

People may be underwater, and many people have sold, but believe me that those who are here and those who are currently building a position know the possible returns!

Wisha- it seems like there is more action in the UK side.

To me it looks like the MM's are possibly working some buys to report later. So, far the signs seem to be positive... Starting with the most recent RNs and the slow yet positive growth in buys that have moved things a little more north.

It seems to me that people are cautiously optimistic and are willing to start coming in at these levels.

Looks like hl systems can't show prices on some shares. Oh, dear!

Could you post a screenshot of the sells mate? The deals reported seem to be buys with someone buying in multiples of 25k and share price up.

30JP- I'm no plumber, but I think I know why the tap kept me up last night. Drip, drip, drip!

The ask has gone up to 2.69 from 2.49 on hl. However, it is also saying no change %, no reported transactions ND have done a few dummy sells and all were for 2.403, even when ask was at 2.49.

So, is someone buying in the background and will be delayed report(s)? Hmm, all to be seen, but after yesterday at Nasdaq, I am encouraged that someone knows something good! IMO

Agreed! For me at this point, the people who were going to "sell", have sold. Those who are here are either underwater, have been averaging down or if you were/are lucky have possibly bagged a great deal (assuming funding is sorted). Time will tell

The main risk (at this moment) is finance. Once this is sorted, a big problem would be resolved and imo the market will take note!

As far as I understand it, Iclaprim is a necessary antibiotic that would fill a very important gap, where antibiotics are either not working or have limited effect. Such as MRSA type infections.
So, to me this is binary! If, MTFB can find the funding, this would signal that someone knows that this has a good chance of getting approved and as such wild see the value and opportunity here. If not, MTFB is a dying duck and this is the big risk.

Would I take a mortgage out to put into MTFB? No! Is it worth a pint because if they get financing, well we could be back in the 20's or 30's, in a couple of sessions! "SIMPLES"!

Not to worried about a blockbuster, but if it became an important weapon against antibiotic resistant bacteria and the number of bacteria it was effective against were to expand. This would be a blockbuster based on several uses.

The risk here is (IMO), that mTFB would have to undertake a huge study and funding couldn't be found.

I don't think this is the case, but IVy is the guy to ask as he has been big source of correct information!

It looks like MTFB is getting interest from other companies to fund initial studies.
Iclaprin is not dear (at all) and am inclined to think that once we know what needs doing, there will be many people putting their wallets out to offer to help or fund any additional studies.
FDA did not kill it and it just looks like an inconvenient to me and one that we could've done without, but am also sure that financing will become available and hopefully a few options!

Mohh- it's not so much that the share price dropped, but rather they had a loss making part of the business bleeding money and they needed to fund the restruxture- this is why the dilution.
All that is now in the rear view mirror and getting smaller and smaller. Once confirmed that all has started to work as it's expected (even early indications) would be very positive for the business and the share price.

I think that those who get shares around the 1p mark at this point , have gotten themselves a sweet deal! Let's see what the update shows and when it lands? .
On Friday, traders tend to sell (as a rule).
However, if they sell on Friday, then Monday could be a good day!
I also agree that there was a buyer of 200 & 250k shares yesterday!

TI the update will not show a massive profit (at this point). For me, if it evidences that by shedding the loss making part of the business and we can see that the business has benefited from the restructuring, then people will queue up for MPM, with the expectation of initial very large revenues (especially in the following update).
If the the revenue has already started and, then that would be a huge bonus for me. Well, that's what I am thinking anyway

This is a bit like watching paint dry, however a small company like PYC has been known to rocket on good news! I've seen it before and I wouldn't be surprised if another Mearsk project is announced at some point in Q3.
I would also imagine that some of the other big Pharma are watching.

As long as the company doesn't dilute, then I'd say that 100p is probable! Especially if they get the right contract or one the personalized dosages gets approved
