Shares are going to be hoovered up by retail and institutional investors, plus the small matter of some loaned out stock needing to go back to their owners.

I’ll just wait and see what pans out, but if we are looking at UK outfits then something tells me it could be Barclays - with their crazy price target this week and the fact that they need something to grow their business, as it looks a little stale at the minute. Jes Staley needs to think of something and being that’s he’s from the US perhaps Metro is on his radar.

Price to book valuation has this at £10, so at £2.30 it is a bargain and remember the lowest Director Buys were at £2.75

You can see from everything that has happened since the last bond sale was pulled (in my view) last Monday to all the news we've had in the last 8 trading days and the media reports over the weekend that something is clearly afoot. Just be patient and the reap the rewards. With any luck we will get a holdings RNS tomorrow, or Friday and this may all become a little clearer.

£6 would be an offer if we were in a corner. Now with the bonds and Cap ratio over 21.5% then this brings the value a fair bit higher.

I don't like quoting numbers, but I think a move to £2.40 - £2.50 likely. I'm in for a lot more than £3 and am eagerly awaiting the broker upgrades that will follow. We still have the TR1 holdings RNS' I expect to drop and hopefully a quieter board.

In addition nothing goes up in a straight line, but based on the 4 RNS' we've had in the last couple of days I would say we are in a much stronger position now and there has clearly been something going on in the background. Thank the shorters and sellers who have enabled us to bag a bargain.

LOl holding it back its up 40p and counting. The MREL offer is oversubscribed - they have played this and the reverasl has started. Wait for more newflow and we should be well ahead come the end of the week.

I did tell everyone this morning to use the opportunity as the MMs will correct the direction of trades and this will head up. Buy on weakness all the way up.
