IJT - yep agree with what you say but it looks like TLW are a basket case and have no CFO or CEO. They need those positions filled to agree anything with TOT.
It will be interesting to see if ECO, Africa Oil and TOT do something themselves, but can they do that if they aren't the operator. Cant see TLW offloading in a farm out without a CEO and they wouldn't want to farm out at stupid levels.

IJT - pretty sure ECO reached 70-75p per drill and then went to 125p when Jethro result was released.

However, if a multi drilling plan is confirmed this time around, pretty sure we can be around 100p levels as we know the oil is there, just need to hit the sweet spots in more ways than one!!

either way, if its 2021 or late 2020, its a buy. Short term drop if its the latter to let new investors in or allow a top up opportunity. If its the former, the same applies

Dorothy needs to follow the yellow brick road to Guyana. There are giant Cretaceous fields in Guyana just waiting to be discovered. Just focusing on production in Ghana is not the answer, production will naturally decline from the existing reservoirs. Uganda and Kenya still are stagnating. Exxon has rapidly monetized their discoveries in Guyana on excellent fiscal terms

it wont happen but SQZ should farm in, they are predominantly gas/ condensate and should diversify into oil. They have the cash and the expertise and could easily raise some equity as well. Would be a good fit

shale is an interesting one. Everyone has been saying that oil output will decrease but it goes up year in year out. I know the small players are struggling and banks are not serving loans and bankruptcies will increase this year. There is still plenty of big players though aka Exxon, Devon etc... I wonder when output will start to decrease as these wells were supposed to be deplete quickly. Bloomberg (if you believe them!!) stated that US production could climb further to 13-14m!!

these two dummies didn't even know there was a Total webcast today and have not even listened to it, and yet they are making assumptions on something they have not heard.
The meeting with ECO and partners over the next week or so will confirm what gets drilled and when. Everything else is heresay or just made up.
