GRG could have been selling for weeks and months and only now notified SQZ. Some of these holders don't always notify the company in good time and i doubt they sold that quantity in a few days?
Either they are selling because they have "insider" info and there is bad news coming or they are transferring shares to an interested party. However, if its the latter we have yet to see a TR-1 notification to see who has grabbed these shares - good to see the share price is rising though
I personally wouldn't take 150-170p, there's too much good news to come within 12 months

So the volume sold is nearly 4 times the volume bought and yet the share price goes up. Doesn't add up unless the "sold" volume is incorrect?

also as coal fired power stations are decommissioned (mostly abroad), gas is the natural substitute and should fill the resultant capacity required

Raxfactor - well I’m in both SQZ & KIST and previously RRE. If AA only does a fraction of the growth at KIST shareholders won’t complain, they already have atleast 60% since IPO. I believe he had targeted some acquisitions whilst at RRE but for whatever reason decided to sell up instead. Maybe he’s now gone back to those potential targets or it could be totally unrelated as he doesn’t want to acquire oil assets.
In most industries and oil & gas is no different, it’s who you know in and out of the industry (including financiers) to get things done. Don’t forget he’s got a 30% holding equating to £13m or so.
Anyway into SQZ, plenty of news coming this quarter to hopefully move the share price in the right direction. Is this the year of mergers & acquisitions?

Quite a few £1k trades today, mixture of buys and sells. Seems odd when you can quite easily sell and buy in many multiples of £1k

For those that are not aware, extract taken from recent PMG RNS relating to its Skerryvore prospects of which i believe we have a 20% interest, there is a potential 157MMboe - Just interesting that we have a link with PMG:

· New seismic purchased in Q3 2019 covering the Skerryvore prospect and surrounding area, which is being reprocessed throughout 2020 to mature the collection of prospects

· Early-stage reprocessing work showing positive improvements in seismic image quality, at the Mey Sandstone reservoir level in particular

· Skerryvore's main prospects are three stacked targets, at Mey and Chalk level, which together could contain 157 million barrels of oil equivalent ("MMBoe"

upomega - how many times have you had a chance to sell in the 120-140p ranges in the last few years - quite a few. You will get another chance come March - April. Will you actually sell though. Are you ready to hit the “sell” button?
I think current weakness is down to rhum3 drill, I don’t think investors like to invest during an ongoing drill.

Why take 130p when you can have twice that in 12 months, what’s the hurry.

An acquisition RNS on the 24th December would be a nice present

So Mitch in his summing up sentence in the recent RNS states:
“ nearer-term opportunities to build on our North Sea portfolio where we are currently engaged in an exciting period of value-adding operations.”
Is he talking about rhum3 & Colombus or other. He states to build on our current North Sea portfolio - if they are talking to someone, it certainly hasn’t been leaked

no sh@t (40% chance), this is after all oil exploration!! What we do know is that we have 100% success rate with 2/2 wells hitting heavy oil. However, bring on the cretaceous and hopefully sweet light crude
