i also dont see the issue and fuss around this. The 484p is a realistic target for the average gas price over the last 5 years. Clearly Andrew Austin and KISTOS see the current gas prices as a short term spike and you cant base long term targets on short term movements in commodities. They dont see gas prices at 70-100p TTF for anymore than 12 months i would say.
If gas prices stay where they are for the next 5 years then clearly the 484p is way too easy, the gas prices at these levels will take care of the share price.
484p is more than a 50% increase from current levels, i wont say no to that, but obviously £10 would be great, lol. RockRose didnt get to £18 in a couple of years!!

I am not to bothered about us going it alone for Eigg, we are earning £2-3m per day in revenue, even higher if the mad russian invades Ukraine, thats 10-15 days worth of revenue, probably a months worth of EBIT that Eigg will cost. Its not peanuts but not its hardly going to put SQZ in financial pressure.

SQZ should consider a quarterly dividend, even if its something like 2.5-3.0% yield each time. We are in a position to afford it currently and it would prevent the large swings in the share price.
Interesting that they moved the Eigg drill later into Q2, it will co-incide with the H1 results for 2022 which should be better than prior year. Any negative drill results are likely to be negated by the strong expected financials?

With drilling "expected" to be kicking off in May, i would of expected news on a drilling rig by now? whats the delay with informing the market - when is it going to be mobilized, which one is it? As soon as we have some definitive timescales and further info, it will ignite the share price, waiting patiently
The RNS back in October 2021 stated:

"The survey, conducted by Fugro GB North Marine Limited, was completed on time, on budget and without incident. Data collection commenced on 16 October and was completed on 20 October with demobilisation commencing shortly thereafter. Accordingly, all site survey work is now complete.
The Pensacola exploration well remains scheduled to be spudded in Q2 2022. Shell has also confirmed that a rig is available to drill Pensacola.

I don't think its a leak, just the market pricing in higher gas prices for the foreseeable future and realizing that SQZ is totally underpriced. if gas stays at around current levels for 2 years, even £5 is peanuts

From Capricorn one RNS today

In the UK, the Jaws exploration well (Capricorn 50% WI) spudded in November 2021. Drilling operations continue with well results expected later in Q1 2022. In the Southern North Sea, the acquisition of 3D seismic data over licence P2428 (60% Capricorn WI) has concluded. Final processed data due in Q2 2022 will enable Capricorn and its JV partner Deltic Energy to fast-track an assessment of prospectivity in the licence area.

Other problem for SQZ is that the market is not expecting any new news until April when the end of year financials are published. Dont think the rig for Eigg will have any impact

So despite the massive increase in gas prices all we have to show for it is an increase in cash resources of £14m for the whole year, have they balls up with the hedges? If it wasnt for this we could have had a nice dividend. Muted market reaction so far despite colombus on stream.

Anyone get a feeling that a fund raise is on the cards, we know that AA is looking at further acquisitions, the current high share price will limit the amount of dilution to existing shareholders and he will want to limit the mountain of cash we have accumulated over the last 9 months or so.
Hopefully exciting times with a meaty asset coming onboard

if the SQZ BOD are not careful, they will get some activist funds/ companies buying in and looking at the cash position and wanting it distributed
There must be all sorts of prying eyes on this mountain of cash and its growing everyday, gas at record highs and oil increasing, no debt, costs miniscule and limited capex.
