Thanks workover for that insight, as per D220 comments, SQZ have been saying for a while that ENI have been sourcing an appropriate rig - seems to be taking an age for confirmation. Low volume suggests either a lack of interest in people buying or that shares a tightly held and no one wants to sell. Probably a mixture of both

well ENI are currently using a drill offshore Morocco which should be completing operations in the very near future, maybe they will use that one, not far from Morocco to central North Sea

not so sure a hit in Namibia will make a significant difference to the share price as Exxon hitting the mother load in Guyana hasn't yet been transformational. What we need is confirmation of farm in and drilling timescales and confirmation - then there should be fireworks

that' then suggests its something else driving the share price and Erskine not even factored in yet, exciting isn't it

without stating the obvious the Oil price helps

Cant break 86p without news it seems, must be something in the pipeline (excuse the pun!!) with Rawallen, Rhum3 or something else, although volume not great

Not me yet Mani, im waiting for �2 plus,I will review once Rawallen, Rhum3 news and BKR assets transferred, we usually get an interim update around September so its a hold until then unless there is a material change

This has been discussed many times, do you think they will just stop producing from the Rhum well if sanctions are progressed. Nope, SQZ will just sell its share of the oil and the Iranian portion will be ringfenced

Wow - some massive buys, either new investors or shares changing hands. We�ve all seen recent significant stakes bought in FPN, I wonder if the recent drop to 62p was orchestrated to get some cheap shares, I wouldn�t be surprised if someone�s taken a 25 - 28% stake ahead of Rhum3 drilling

speed of progress by Exxon is no problem when you are the largest listed oil company in the world, good for us that they are operating in the same oil hot spots as we are, means that development progresses a lot faster and maybe we and our development partners can share any future infrastructure that is put in place

Further acquisitions can come through at any time out the blue. They have already made reference to the North Sea being their preferred territory for organic growth. With a strong cash position currently and more once BKR is complete around Q3, any further acquisitions will have a material impact, never mind Rhum3 and Rawallen. If all these come through, mind boggles where the share price will be.

Due next week on Tuesday 10th, interest perking up for the traders, asides from financials and BKR acquisition we could do with updates on: 1. Rhum3 2. Colombus 3. Erskine resolution 4. Other acquisitions in pipeline 5. Namibia 6. Rawallen

This will hover around the 12p Mark with no further news. When they confirm drill dates then the share price will move further forward much higher.

There has been some recent US pressure on Europe and UK to increase levels of sanctions on Iran, I wonder if this is having some effect impacting on share price weakness. I know previous answers regarding Iranian impact on BKR assets was thought to be a non issue but this recent slide from 76p to 63p seems rather co-incidental, although news on Erskine could also be having an impact.

its you - interesting thoughts, we all know what happened to Encore several years ago, shareholders were shafted for a cheap takeover. here i believe that PIs who recognised the value here early have already made good money but plenty more to come, however its taken the bigger institutions by surprise who all want part of the action at mates rates and what Africa oil paid seems to be the level. We will see what happens. I still see Total farm in as cheap and other majors surely would be thinking we could pay x2, x3 that price and it would still be cheap, but if Total and TLW drill sooner rather than later then fair enough Plenty of discussions and negotiations no doubt in the background
