I thought there may have been a bit of a sell off at the last Guyana OPs update, but the share price has held 38.5 well. Timescales for Guyana farm out are longer than most thought, hence my reasoning. Happy that we didn�t see that though. Apart from the obvious of Guyana being hottest post code on the planet there must be other news impending to keep us where we are - Namibia, Guyana seismic, CPR for Guyana, Namibia multiple farm out, Namibia drills, Africa oil partnership, so plenty of news to come to keep interest up

Not surprising since they have 60% of Orinduik in Guyana and drilling about to start in Namibia. Guyana is the hottest oil post code on the planet and Exxon have substantially derisked the area. Pacora-1 results due in next 6-8 weeks

Good points Phoebus, I certainly would agree with the Cove comparison, it�s likely ECO would just get taken out before their Guyana acreage is drilled Question is do the likes of Total grab them now or do they wait but they would have to pay more. I�m not sure how the Africa oil taking a 18% position would impact on any acquisition of ECO. However, this is one of the no brainer oiler to be in and to accumulate at these prices

Good that institutional money is coming in, but that could also be a problem as they want millions of shares at a set price as they have the buying power to keep the share price in check or within a range

Guyana is great and near term results from Pacora-1 eagerly anticipated, however Namibia drilling looks like it�s going to kick off near term with a number of companies which may also include ECO. Exxon have just snapped up licences all around us, it�s not going to be a quiet next 6 months.

If Exxon hit oil at Pacora in the near future, there will be a scramble for shares. Best to get them now from a super major point of view. Africa oil been very shrewd, Total need to progress their farm out option before the Pacora results

That's the only worry here now, the super majors will be looking to snap up proven locations, we have Exxon literally drilling next door with results due in next couple of months (3 month drill). Will we still be around before the drilling in Guyana actually starts

It's possible that with little volume moving the shares up this week, it could be some early leaks from the current Exxon drill

I agree with Only and 4kandles that the Total deal in Guyana for 25% at 12.5m looks like a bad Deal, can ECO walk away from this or renegotiate. Surely since the recent further drills by XON there must be interest from the other super majors. I'm sure with Keith Hill being on the BOD now as well from Africa oil as major share holders they would have something to say.

If Total don't farm in, there will be a disorderly que waiting in the wings. Low volume here and yet we have gone up approx 5% per day last few days, just imagine if news broke, volume increases significantly this will move significantly. Not many shares in issue and I bet most are tightly held. Just need confirmation of drill dates especially for Guyana

�16 coming, question is will it hold. My AIM shares are doing better than this so called cash cow safe dividend paying stock However, other water stocks also down so it�s industry related

Not necessarily Zebbo regarding hitting black stuff first as lots of factors in play as follows: Sentiment, oil price when we�re close to drilling, confirmation of drilling in either or both Guyana, Namibia We already have Exxon hitting the mother load right next to us in Guyana so we just need confirmation of farm in and drill date If Exxon hit oil in middle of Walvis Basin where we surround them - where will be then? We could be multiples of where we are now without even drilling bit like CHAR many years ago, but we already have proven oil offshore Guyana

Shale pump like mad only to bring poo back down, beggars belief that they have no self discipline, do they think flooding the market is good for the poo I guess KSA and Russians will just play along until the shale plays begin their decline curve which will come at some point and guess what that�s when they will really tighten the screws and bring the poo price up and then produce like mad Question is how long before the shale plays start to decline or is their more effecciency to come as those mentioned by HNR Coming back to SQZ, still plenty of news to come with Colombus, further acquisitions, as we have seen with BKR acquisition it could come at any time, there was no hint or leak apart from what the BOD had said months before

Darkelf99 - not in yet, was looking to buy in to trade the dividend, I have been a shareholder in the past as part of the share save scheme. Offwat new amp 5 year concerns ahead as well as more competition to come.

Slide 2 of the new presentation dated February 2018 on the ECO website which is headed as �disclaimer� states that the slides have been produced in connection of a proposed placing. So is this why the shares haven�t gone above 32p despite the big buys. What price the placing and will they allow existing PIs to take part. Am I right or not.
