Hedge fund sees $100 oil this year, $150 by 2020. Pierre Andurand of Andurand Commodities Fund told the WSJ that the oil market is �in the middle of a multiyear bull run.� He has been bullish on oil for a while, and paid dearly in the past few years as crude languished, but his hedge fund has bounced back with oil prices this year. He sees no reason to let up. �We could see $100 oil this year�$150-plus in 2020-2021�People think $100 is high. But we�ve seen $100, we�ve seen $150 in a much weaker economic environment [2008] than today, and I think today is much more bullish,� he told the WSJ. �I don�t think we�re close to the top at all.�

I can smell the panic and fear amongst the shorters and those trying to get a lower buy in price. Oil still going up, Venezuela only going to get worse, yes other members of OPEC may have to step in to prevent oil getting to $150 plus, summer driving season, Iran issues, hurricane season, few new fields - oh I forgot we have catcher ramping up just in time

Iran have already said they are happy with the current oil price and no need for any increases in production and all OPEC have to agree on strategy. So I can see OPEC maintaining cuts but Ruskies may change their minds and go off on a tangent. Depends how much they want to hurt the americans

With those IEA numbers you would of thought Brent would be down. Why is it up? Maybe the market doesn't believe those made up numbers. I would be worried if I was short or looking for a lower share price to jump in here, quiet before the storm or the before the sh@t hits the fan, lovely jalebi

Surprise surprise Iraqi oil minister says no need for production increase, as I understand it, all within OPEC need to agree either to reduce or increase and obviously Iran will do the opposite to the US. Interesting time to come ahead of OPEC meeting

i think its pretty obvious that there is an oil supply issue coming irrespective of Venezuela, iran, Angola problems, strong demand, world growth, china and india demanding more and lack of new oil fields coming on stream. Strong demand now in summer months in northern hemisphere, oil is only going up and expect a strong 2H 2018 even if OPEC do increase.

Brent oil already up and will continue going up much like PMO today

There could be significant tightening of oil supplies Q1 2019, expecting big draws in US oil reserves and continued significant drops in production in Venezuela, Nigeria, Angola, never mind possible sanctions in Iran All as ECO and partners embark on drilling in Guyana. Perfect storm brewing for investors although an oil price over 100 could be problematic as well

Positive start tomorrow, 2m crude draw, expecting the same or greater with IEA, some people sound desperate for poo to be down, oil.market tightening and US now desperate for OPEC to increase production. Will be interesting to see how this plays out in the forthcoming ROPEC meeting - will KSA and Ruskies and rest of OPEC come to a consensus - will they do the opposite to US wishes

Expect 88e and other oil stocks to go up based on API 2m crude draw. Also US begging OPEC to increase production - they sound desperate to bring price of oil down so it doesn't hurt US - double standards

Trump begging for more oil because he fears 1. He can�t bully Iran for fear of poo going way above $100 2. US reserves being depleted 3. Most important it will hit Americans in the pocket and that means no second term in office

What about all those PIs that went long at $40 as well. Start of Hurricane season today, oil market will tighten, if ROPEC maintain cuts expect oil price to go higher TLW operational update coming in June so all looks good to be invested here

Even if the US enforces sanctions on Rhum, at the completion of the BKR transfer, SQZ should get around $100m at end of September excluding expenses based on 18,000 boe production per day. That�s if my maths add up and using average of $60 oil. What�s SQZ going to do with that money. Anyone else got any figures on how much money will be transferred to SQZ assuming assets transferred by end of September. I know it�s mainly gas though and not oil. The risk is obviously the deal may not complete but the reward is that it does and SQZ gets initial significant cash injection even though the Rhum asset may go dorrment for a while. Then there is the Rawallen spud in 3Q. I�m still waiting on the sidelines having derisked significantly but waiting and watching share price.

It�s also the start of the North Atlantic Hurricane season so expects the market to tighten more, 2017 was a record season for storms and there are predictions for up to 14 named storms this season - that�s 14 in about 3 months

I think their main issue wasn't Guyana but as below, anyway we should get news of 3d and hopefully Total farm in option soon Total wants to explore Brazil's Foz do Amazonas basin, which geologists estimate could contain up to 14 billion barrels of oil, or more than the entire proven reserves in the Gulf of Mexico. Brazil's environmental agency rejected the company's bid for an environmental license for the fourth time on Tuesday, requesting more information. A Greenpeace expedition in April documented coral in the area where Total plans to drill, after an earlier discovery of a massive coral reef nearby.

A bit of excitement today at Total's AGM Greenpeace also opposes Total's investment in offshore oil production blocks in French Guyana, which will boost its presence in the potentially lucrative Guyana basin. Total faces more protests this month, after France's largest farmers' union called for a blockade of French oil refineries in protest at the company's decision to use imported palm oil at a new biofuel production site.

One billion dollars sales revenue per year based on 35,000 boe per day current production and current oil price. Crazy share price at the moment and I would expect further production increases to come
