isitsaturdayyet: My advice (for what it's worth)........It very much depends on your circumstances (quantity and cost of current Deb shares v % of shares in other companies/sectors). This is now a possible recovery share and most people here seem to think it will get back to 20p, some think much much higher. I am trying to free up some cash to buy as buying in at 13p and selling at even 17p is a 30% profit but I'm rarely that disciplined. So maybe buy now if you can afford to and treat this tranche separately and sell for a profit and separately you will recoup some of your losses on your existing holding and make a judgement call on these down the road. I would not be bailing out now!

sain@vision: what do you mean the private shareholder is going to be at the back of the class? What forthcoming events are you referring to?

volcano: there have been a few positive recent broker's rating and SP guidance but most of what I have seen have no new guidance or update on CPI shares in recent months. SEE the icon above or on Yahoo Finance or the FT so a lot of these ratings are old and irrelevant as recent turmoil and the rights issue has moved the goal posts...I would be interested to know where you are sourcing the 14 analyst's verdict?

Agree with max19, at least two years and quite probably longer unless they make huge restructuring progress!

Yeah ragnarlothbrok, these brokers seem to adjust their ratings after the fact quite a lot and seem to be very slow to do so also!

Thanks ragnarlothbrok, yes, if is reaches 160p, I will probably take some profit. Bearing in mind that nobody knows what will happen, sounds like a good analysis of the situation. The SP will probably yo-yo between 145p and 165p, I cannot see it doing much more for the remainder of the year. Think the longer term will be all about actions and financials coming directly from the company. Nice bounce today!
