You're not wrong Floater, I certainly was (as illustrated by my ability to have turned £7,470.31 into £581.66 in 6 years on my other 7 ''investments''!! LOL!

Just thankful I got lucky (really lucky!) with my eighth!! ;-)

Anyone who has been here longer than '5 minutes', will no doubt remember that this time last year we were struggling to break 2p FFS!

Just think where we could be in another 12 months time (or much sooner?!)

My time at Lehman's taught me that these organisations care about themselves and their clients only, certainly not investors like us!

I for one never invested in SXX, but I am still concerned at any potential involvement.

Same here, JPM's potential involvement in our company does worry me somewhat also.

I used to work for a division of Lehman Brothers prior to the crash (need I say more?!)

I too will be (reluctantly) considering selling up should they become involved. :-(

I've been invested here well prior to pre-consolidation days and currently sitting on an 85% loss!!

Fully agree with rockontom, as I also invested in GGP at about the same time.

As of Friday up 1189% on GGP and sitting on a very nice paper PROFIT of a knat's C*ck under £262,000!

GGP has helped me recoup ALL my portfolio's historical losses (including this 'Dog' of a share) and left me just over £200k up overall.

Plenty more in the tank IMHO, and looking forward to a bright future thanks entirely to GGP! ;-)

Lost a load on this pile of s h i t e (like doubtlessly many others have too) from buying into AFPO.

Thank heavens for Greatland Gold which has not only covered my entire portfolio's losses over the last 6 years but has also left me sitting on a well into a six figure profit, otherwise I'd have been stuffed! :-(

Was sent a Report of 'Stocks to Watch Out For' by a Company peddling CFDs (whose name escapes me) back in 2014 not long after my dear grandfather had passed away and left me some money.

(GGP was one of those stocks and at a sp at the time of only 0.42p!)

Initially put £1,000 into each of the stocks they recommended (blindly) of which all but GGP have turned out to be utter ****e!

Only bought 250,000 initially (and how much do I now wish I'd put in my £22k overall investment in one go at that time!)

Topped up along the way (between 0.54p & 1.98p - to give an average of 1.1p on a 2m holding) and sold some other shares at a massive loss to pile in on the expected NM 'buyout' (and we all know what happened there!)

After that fateful Monday was left sitting on a huge (for me) loss as well as a feeling of extreme guilt that I had just 'spunked' away most of the money that my Grandad had saved all his life to pass on to me.

Couldn't face locking in the loss, decided it was now a s h i t or bust play and
so averaged down (with borrowed money, stupid I know) but now so glad I did.

Currently looking at more money in my ISA than I have ever seen, and with much more to come.

Invested here until the end (buy-out or annual Divi) whenever that may be.

Just hope I'm still alive and young enough to enjoy it (though if not, I'm sure my nephew will!!)

If you're correct Chrisatbirdies I for one will be a VERY ''happy camper'' (with 2m shares currently held in an ISA, and a further 110,000 in my pension)!

That would certainly see my family's financial future well and truly secured!

Why cash it out and get hit by the tax.

Move it all into a private pension (As I did with all of my 5 smallish pots totalling £150k , into a fund with AVIVA who have been more than happy to purchase GGP shares on my behalf).

You can still take your 25% tax free at a later date (when it's far larger) and draw down what you need as you need it.

The only thing you'll have to worry about is exceeding the Lifetime Allowance when this really kicks off! ;-)
