Oh dear, more ridiculous lies from WO - remember 'Zenneca'? Please direct me to the posts which prove I bought at 70 and sold at 10p. I did buy some at 70 - I sold the bulk at 80, and the small amount I had left at 40. I lost about �500 in total. Thankfully I've made multiples (more than 100 times actually) of this amount on stocks like HCM, MCRO, RST, LGIM, BVXP etc etc - my posts on these stocks are there to be read if you're intent on stalking me. I then invested �200 on a punt that someone might pay �15m to get the assets early. I am down about �40 on this trade. Now, that's the facts so stop posting rubbish you numbskull.

Hey Prof - You've gone through the long-term story (Africa will grow a lot and become the greatest consumer of bandwidth the world has ever known) but the Company has to survive in its current form for current shareholders to actually make any money. Can you share with us the views on the shorter term issues of EBITDA growing sufficiently in the medium term to begin paying down the debt mountain, and avoiding another slew of dilutive D4E swaps, or worse, the debt holders foreclosing and selling the assets to the highest bidder. Go on, prove to us that you're not just the normal ramper-nob who pops up on here every so often to simply disappear when the stock inevitably craters again. Talk to us about your shorter term financial models and where the EBITDA/debt interest tipping point is. Then we can take you seriously.

Not sure if everyone clocked this, but the stock actually went ex-dividend 71p today which means the stock is effectively up 7.5% today! Hurrah!!

RNS on licensing deal seems to be the catalyst, although aside from the upfront payment and minimums for '18 and '19, there doesn't seem much detail as to what this actually means for AMS. Anyone got any more?

Also means that the effective free float of the issue will be much smaller, and hence it won't mop up too much latent demand. I've seen on other shares where the issue itself whips up more interest, and the stock ultimately rises on the back of it.

Only have to read that Dialight is a 'cylindrical' business to know that you're dealing with a bunch of rank amateurs, not serious financial journalists or analysts. Your analysis below is rubbish as well - in the early 2000s Dialight was a completely different business. Time to get on your bike and peddle your rubbish elsewhere.

Borrow a little, the bank owns you. Borrow a lot, and you own the bank. Same here - The debt holders are somewhat beholden to the Company if they want to get back 100p in the pound of principal. They need to keep it as a going concern and hope it will grow its way out of trouble post Hylas 4. If at any point they do not believe they will ever get this back, or simply feel prepared to accept a lower percentage of the principal , then they will allow AVN to breach the covenants, foreclose the debt, and sell the assets to the highest bidder. Always risky of course as they'll look a bit desperate, although there should be some interested buyers at the right price. Going to bean interesting next 12 months.

PW - stop posting rubbish. The Satellite's are insured against damage and malfunction. The insurance isn't to cover company bankruptcy. The argument that the satellites are insured so the Company must be fine is amongst the stupidest that I've seen on this Board, and that's saying something!
