Figs and announcememnt look fine. Have to say though, I'll be top slicing if it gets to £45, and out at £50 (but would buy back at 350p). Just feels more like a trading stock to me here as news flow moves one way then the other.

Held up extremely well in recent vol, so I've sold out now and redistributed amongst other very cheap companies (including IG Group)

Opt - Shares I was buying on Friday and Monday:
Legals, Codemaster, IG Group, Tritax Big box, Microfocus, Alliance Trust, AEW REIT, AMS. Two-thirds was financed from cash, one-third from top slicing a holding in a US Tips iShare (effectively US index linked bonds) which has been a steller performer as US rates have fallen and the $ appreciated.

The thing that's spooking the markets (media histrionics) is why I think this whole thing likely to be overblown. The speed of information and understanding is so fast now, whilst media headlines have already got policy makers and central banks hopping too it at double time. Chinese cases of the virus now seem to have flattened off, and I expect something similar to happen in the rest of the world over the next 10 day to 2 weeks. Sure, we'll see some volatility in the meantime, but moves over the last week have left some high quality large and mid cap UK stocks extremely well priced. I've been keeping around 30% of my porfolio in cash and gold, but I'm starting to drip this back in at these levels.

Yep - I also took the opportunity to top-up on Friday morning. Completely warranted recovery since then! (That said, I wouldn't be a seller of LLoyds here either!)

1 week of vol, and plus 500 issues trading statement - LOL. Feels quite desperate....IG will play this much cooler I'm sure, but ultimately, I do expetc better trading and earnings upgrdes to help cover an alraedy save divvy and massive yiled. Only way is up folks!!

Horrible, horrible results, and it looks like the Coronavirus will impact them as well. Sorry LO, but I'd still sell if I were you.

Yep, the falls were hugely overdone - well done to all thgose who stayed invested, and huge congrats to anyone who had the balls to actually invest more (not me I hasten to add!).

'Buys' and 'sells' mean little or nothing on this Board. Everytrade has a buyer and a seller by definition. The description on here is simply based on whether the price transacated is nearer the bid or the offer. I'd ignore it.

Indeed it was - 30 years ago. Which equates to a 9% cap gain per year. Pretty nice of course, though not exactly an 'Apple'...:-))

I have a holding in Tritax bigbox. Secure long leases in a genuine growth market. Trades at NAV and yield about 5%. One of a number of Secure income investments I've been accumulating as I head towards retirement :-)

Sensible development, but not particularly price sensitive I'd say. Now when the full cash bid comes in at £15, then we'll have something to discuss.....:-)

Business seems to be going in the right direction, and certainly pretty cheap on most measures. Worth a punt methinks!!

So in effect largely irrelevant to AHT given that pretty much all the impact was from Oil and Gas? Share price in AHT seemingly saying the same thing.....:-))
