MMs closing their book early, but I can still sell 100,000 at 38.3 but can only buy 2,000 shares...yes 2,000

Looks like they want to avoid getting caught like yesterday when they had to buy in over 200,000 shares at 39p in the closing auction...

On the basis that I have been firmly bid for 500,000 shares for over two hours now, I expect the SP to pop again today and to test 43p again by the end of friday...

Somebody mentioned this today and it struck me that I've had no reply to an email I sent Eliza a couple of days ago, nor to my LinkedIn message to the industry contact that I mentioned the other day.

A couple of possible explanations are that:

They have had a bid approach...but I expect that would lead to an early "we have had an approach that may lead to a bid", if not a suspension of trading...TSX are pretty strict on that...

Or they have had a JV approach from BHP...

If either was the case I believe they would be precluded from putting out a 'material' RNS about anything else, such as big Porvenir news, because it could be seen as a 'blind' to what was really going on...

We shall see, but the MMs definitely want my stock...bidding 37.58 for 400,000, well within the Market Quote of 37.45/37.8...

I'm an ingenue but it seems that short term resistance would be at 43 and medium term at 46 then off to the races...?
